Chapter 68 preview! (Part 1)

I've finished part 1 of Chapter 68, and it's gone through the first round of editing. I'll no doubt make a few more changes when I finish the entire chapter, but I thought you might like a sneak peak.
To give you fair warning, you know how I like to torture my editors with cliffhangers... ;-)

It is nice to post here and then get your biggest fans input. The astral scene in ch.67 was very good but then adding a greater 'epilog' to it in this chapter was awesome. It is interesting to see how adding Sakura increased John's powers or maybe it is just John learning how to tap into the power he already has. It was interesting to see the black goo dissolve with the crystal Alyssium, there should be some interesting theories. Now we have the biggest space battle so far in the story about to happen with the Invictus about to enter the arena. It would be interesting if Faye's increased powers could disable all the capital/command ships at once and then John comes in and gives the ultimatum for a truce or he overloads their cores. Of course a Nova Lance thru the biggest ship would reinforce the point. Even the Kintark is starting to see John as a man of honor.
