Releasing new chapters...
Added 2017-01-29 16:36:15 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
I thought I'd take a quick poll (new Patreon functionality!) to see when you would prefer me to post a new chapter to Patreon.
At the moment I've been posting it here after number 3) then updating that version once I've finished editing. It varies a bit depending on when my various editors get back to me, but the chapters normally follow these stages.

Loved chapter 157. I knew she would be back. I have so missed Faye. Well done Telfar. She was always likely to come back being an artificial life form of sorts. What a way to finish this chapter. Brilliant ending.

2022-09-01 09:27:21 +0000 UTCSo addicted to this amazing story. Up there and beyond 'Wheel of Time', 'Lord of the Rings' to name but a few. They are good stories, but the times they were written made them too politically correct. Three Square Meals is a master piece of creative, momentous substantial genius writing.

2022-08-03 09:09:05 +0000 UTCmy addiction is getting worse, I want ch 73 now.....
Wookey
2017-03-20 22:36:30 +0000 UTCI'm useless now that I know it will be up soon...
2017-01-30 23:35:51 +0000 UTChey tefler - I asked about that picture at the top of your pages here in the previous post...?

2017-01-30 23:02:06 +0000 UTCI've been wondering how much time has elapsed in the story so far, six months or so?
2017-01-30 22:40:27 +0000 UTC6, but it's missing quite a few, as I wrote the list about six months ago. I originally planned to have John and Alyssa kill Mikaboshi when he ambushed them, but I changed that, and I need to include another confrontation with him. I've thought out the big finale, but haven't broken it down into key plot points yet in my notes. So maybe ten-twelve considering all that.

2017-01-30 22:30:31 +0000 UTCJust curious, if you don't mind my asking, at this time, how many more outstanding plot arc notes are there in your current forecast? I do recognize that this may change at any time. I'm also just asking for a number, not any details about content.

2017-01-30 22:27:04 +0000 UTCUpgrade engines Upgrade mass drivers Jade side mission 1 3 out of 3 Misc. pirate rescues
2017-01-30 22:25:03 +0000 UTCFrom my plot-arc notes, the following are now struck through! Maliri -> Rachel side mission -> Trankarans (Thruster upgrades) -> back to Maliri (Laser upgrades) -> Terran Federation (AI uprising) -> Terran Federation (assassin) -> Terran Federation (deal with traitor) -> ?

2017-01-30 22:18:13 +0000 UTCPersonally I like the way he has done so far he puts out the occasional teaser or the slightly less polished work and does a damn fine job of it. He then reads all of our ideas or theories. If it gives him ideas GREAT, we started to read HIS story and we loved it enough to help support his 3SM world. But I believe that Tefler has a pretty clear line of where he wants the his story to go.

2017-01-30 21:51:21 +0000 UTCJust running through edits right now. Maybe an hour or so, and I'll post the chapter... :-)

2017-01-30 21:44:42 +0000 UTCHm. An interesting idea. Could lead to a tiered reward system, which Patreon is fully capable of. Those who donate $X can possibly gain access to the story at earlier, less edited stages, i.e. those who donate say $15 dollars can read the new chapter at stage 1, $10 gets stage 2, $5 gets stage 3. with the final stage being available to everyone. Those are just random dollar amounts of course, I only needed a number dividable by 3, and intervals of 5 seemed like a decent gap between levels without being too drastic.

2017-01-30 13:54:53 +0000 UTCInteresting system. I voted 1, 2 and 3. I don't mind multiple postings and the system isn't preventing multiple votes since it's using checkboxes, not radio buttons. As far as I'm concerned, if the chapters are marked in some fashion, it then becomes up to the individual as to which ones they read, and it gives those of us who want it an insight into the various stages of the story. I've also been checking, but I'm limiting myself to six checks per day... :-)

2017-01-30 13:25:22 +0000 UTCI resemble those withdrawal remarks, I'm a wreck. Need my fix!
2017-01-30 12:28:13 +0000 UTCWell, considering that I've been checking back here every few hours even though I'm at work (nothing happening at work, thankfully), I'd say I'm suffering withdrawal pretty bad.
Jedi Khan
2017-01-30 10:17:41 +0000 UTCyou getting the withdrawal shakes pretty bad by now too, eh Jedl? :-)

2017-01-30 10:07:03 +0000 UTCIt's not that the time between chapters is any different, it's that we KNOW the chapter's there and just going through editing and whatnot, and we start getting twitchy 'cause we want to read it NOW :p ~Morningfrost

2017-01-30 05:46:32 +0000 UTCChapter 68 is a pretty good example for this. He posted it as usual (opt#3), then made a few changes and added some stuff to clarify things based off of feedback from us his Patrons, which went into the final product (opt#4). Kinda makes being a Patron a little more worthwhile, in addition to having early access to the new chapters.

2017-01-30 01:40:04 +0000 UTCAs interesting as it might be to see how bad your English truly is before your editors fix it, Tef, I say maintain the status quo. It's what we're used to and expect. That being said, if you could find a way to post it just a little bit sooner, that'd be okay too. ;-)

2017-01-30 01:22:50 +0000 UTCThe time between chapters is the same regardless of the number, except the very first time. #1 or 2, is a chance to offer suggestions or alternatives to what he just wrote. In the end, Teffler decides if that desired or not. Honestly I think some people might have hurt feelings if they really love an idea and it is not incorporated. #3 is the safest.
2017-01-30 01:00:02 +0000 UTCMy desire for instant gratification says option #1, but I'm still going to have to say option #3. As much as I want to read the story the instant it's finished (it's seriously like crack lol), I like seeing the close-to-finished product. ~Morningfrost

2017-01-30 00:45:28 +0000 UTCBelieve me I would love too. But my wallet just can't handle it
2017-01-30 00:39:29 +0000 UTCI voted 2 and 3 - so call me a 2.5. ...and I'm doing some editing for Latenight Pondering also, so if you want to expand your editing pool... ping me either here or via literotica.
GrandPaM
2017-01-30 00:14:43 +0000 UTCYup, gonna go with Option 3, I still LIKE Option 1 however, mainly due to the time it takes to write them (and this is not a bad thing at all), its a crack addiction, I would read it when it came out without edits or improvements, then read it again once you final post it :D

2017-01-30 00:13:24 +0000 UTCI like reading your story once maybe twice. Realistically after reading it once I'm anxious to see what comes next. I don't mind some mistake but a I would like to have the story close to final
2017-01-30 00:13:03 +0000 UTCI know I'm going to be reading it twice anyway so 2 for me
thomas
2017-01-30 00:01:15 +0000 UTCVote 3 because frequency doesn't increase. Just like getting it sooner on patreon vs. the other site. It's still average 10 days between chapters. And it's nice having them mostly polished.
2017-01-29 21:18:23 +0000 UTCDefinitely #3, but I like the idea a dated final version on patreon. Also, if you're real fans cough up more than a dollar a post! Come on suport Tefler like you mean it!
2017-01-29 20:38:42 +0000 UTCIt would be nice to see a date or revision date so you know if you have the most recent edition. Going over past chapters there are a few mistakes the editors missed.
2017-01-29 20:03:38 +0000 UTCI like to think 3 is the way to go for here. I enjoy reading it early, then Tefler can use any comments from the more serious fans here that he may want to add/fix for the 4.0 version. I always add the Literotica version to the library.
2017-01-29 19:59:24 +0000 UTCI read it here, then read it on sto.
2017-01-29 19:51:23 +0000 UTCYes, I think 3 is best. I don't want to miss any content by accident. I read it here and then when it appears on the site I make sure to go and give it the 5 stars it deserves.

2017-01-29 19:45:03 +0000 UTCI'm conflicted, on the one hand I want the new chapter asap, on the other I know that waiting for the most complete version would be best... hmm, think I'll have to add my vote to option 3 as well.
Byroz
2017-01-29 19:08:25 +0000 UTCIf step 4 is just punctuation, spelling, and so on - no added content - then I vote for option #3. If you do add anything though, even just a paragraph or two, I would say #4. However, there's nothing stopping patient folks like me from simply waiting until you make the final changes, so I still wouldn't be opposed to option 3.
2017-01-29 18:42:01 +0000 UTC2,5 - 3.0 is fine

2017-01-29 18:37:19 +0000 UTCIt seems barring a last minute deluge of votes for one of the other categories, option 3 seems the most popular. I'll keep going as I am then, publishing it here when it's nearly all done, barring a few grammar and punctuation changes. Once I've completely finished editing, I'll replace the attached word doc and put (final) after the title or something like that.
Tefler
2017-01-29 17:46:14 +0000 UTCIt seems that way.

2017-01-29 17:43:04 +0000 UTCThat is weird. I guess it's new functionality, so it'll get some enhancements later.

2017-01-29 17:41:17 +0000 UTCBtw its pretty strange you can vote all 4 at the same time.
2017-01-29 17:24:53 +0000 UTCWell I see 3 is the winner.

2017-01-29 17:08:24 +0000 UTCbeen too long between fixes this time...starting to suffer withdrawal ! : )
2017-01-29 17:00:10 +0000 UTCIt's at about stage 2.5 at the moment. :) My last two editors should get back to me by tomorrow, so it'll be the evening UK time when I've gone through and made the various changes.

2017-01-29 16:48:01 +0000 UTCHow about right now... 😉
2017-01-29 16:45:52 +0000 UTCI'm more inclined to have you make the call - but the sooner the better. Too bad Patreon doesn't let us flag gramatical/spelling errors, summarize them, and let you crowd source your editing.
