Three Square Meals Ch. 191 (Placeholder)

This is the second placeholder for this month.
My goal is to complete three chapters for April, as my health issues and writers block both seem to be finally over. If I can get back to my old levels of productivity, I should be able to cut through the backlog at a rapid pace.
I really enjoyed writing the last chapter, and working through it quickly always seems to make it more fun. At my peak I was able to write 80k words in one month, so that's my ultimate goal. A few months like that would almost halve the number of chapters I owe you guys, and I'd love to have cleared everything by the end of 2025. Anyway, fingers crossed.

2025-05-01 03:28:00 +0000 UTCObviously it’s not going to be multiple chapters. Tef working into the wee hours could mean he’s close to finishing a chapter, which would be nice. Far more often in the past year or two it means he’s struggling to pen 1/3 of a chapter before the sun comes up.

As an act of faith, I upped my tier to $5/chapter because I appreciate his work and wanted to support him through others abandoning ship. But now that faith is nearly spent. We are further behind than ever and each month gives the same promise and no progress. It looks like a game to see how far he can fall behind before even his strongest supporters falter. Well, that’s not gonna be me much longer. If Tefler can do two chapters in April, I’ll stick around. If not….well, gotta cut bait eventually.

So ... Tef MUST offer monthly billing within 6 months, however it is not clear what will happen to legacy accounts. Realistically, there seems to me to be zero chance that Tef will have caught up with his placeholders by then. Will legacy accounts become automatically converted to monthly accounts, or will there be a two-level field where new signups are monthly but legacy accounts remain as pay-per-chapter? How will Tef ever resolve this thorny probem of his own making? And at what rate will the new monthly fee be set ? I really doubt it will only be US$1. Some of the similar Patreon authors like BlaQQuill charge US$5 - $10 per month. The tension is mounting folks. Will it all end in tears, or will our plucky protagonist author gain redemption and ascend to the sunlit uplands of erotic sci fi literature. Stay tuned for more developments in the most compelling space opera since TSM - 'Tef and the Spiral of Doom'.

2025-04-18 12:09:37 +0000 UTCIf you aren’t skilled enough to unsubscribe about the 27th of each month and rejoin on about the 3rd of the next month, then you deserve to keep contributing to Tefflers business practices. At this point I drop in to read the comments. There has been little progress with the actual story in 3 years. Don’t mean to offend anyone.

He has already cut back the chapter size once since this whole placeholder fiasco started.... Also same for all the suggestions to do art or side-stories or other quick fixes....We paid for full chapters of TSM, not half-chapters or other stuff...
