Three Square Meals Ch. 183 (Placeholder)

Apologies for the placeholder. I've been dealing with some personal issues last month which drastically cut into the amount of available time I could write.
My plan is to finish 172 in the next couple of days, then write the next two chapters, one of which will be a Christmas themed chapter before the 25th. Then I'll start work on 175 before the New Year.
I will try to keep you updated in December with weekly status posts, so you can follow my progress with the chapters.

2024-12-26 01:13:24 +0000 UTCTefler doesn’t get enough credit for his sense of humor. Weekly status posts, write 2.3 chapters, including a Christmas themed chapter. That’s hilarious. He keeps upping the sarcasm every month but people aren’t getting it. Next month’s update will read something like: Hi guys - last month got busy and I couldn’t deliver anything but next month I’m free so I’m going to catch up on all 12 chapters. One chapter will be a 20,000 word haiku. Another will be Shakespear’s Macbeth set in TSM timeline. I’ll be providing hourly updates, 24 hours a day, the entire month. I’ll probably finish the 12 chapters early so I’m planning on writing a bonus song called ‘A Kirrix Christmas Carol’, complete with a jazzy musical composition.

Now, I did meet a woman who had been on exclusively intravenous feeding for over 8 month in my training hospital. She's the only one who neither had an assh0le nor was full of sh*t. I'd imagine that such a story takes a bit more effort to write now than back in its first years, ... TSM has become an EPIC story, ... it is much larger than the average tale in this venue, ... -- and his health issues could likely make it more difficult to sit and write, ... needing many more breaks, needing to stand and needing to stretch, ... just needing to 'walk it off' ... Tef has always wanted to do better and not drop placeholders each month, but time and circumstances seem to be working against this Amateur Author working as a professional, ... I do not think he has truly gotten a handle on the finer professional aspects of writing yet, .... but his TSM story is totally Awesome (that is so gnarly dude), ... this guy is talented, ... I look forward to his future efforts, and I hope that the harsh critics do not drive him away, ... ;-( ttfn

He got complacent, fat off the bloated $20k plus chapters, and thought the train would never stop. Simply put he got lazy. Also, I don't know about anyone else but I've been alive for a good long while now if I had surgery scheduled and ready to go and they canceled it it's because of something I did or a goal I didn't reach what doctors keep you on the hook for removing gall bladder stones for a whole fucking year with a moving surgery date.

This habit of placeholders has been tolerated for an amazing amount of time but it looks like he is approaching the endgame.

Started out getting a chapter a month with the goal of quitting your job to write full time. Now we’re happy and lucky to see a couple chapters a year. I keep paying because I love this story and want to see it eventually finished. I just want you to know, if you even read these, that I don’t believe in you anymore. Stop pretending you will ever catch up on these pre-charges. At your current completion rate you owe us several years worth of work.
