I'm sorry to start the New Year on a negative note with a placeholder. I've got a lot to catch up on in 2025, and I hate that I've failed to keep my promises in 2024.
I will do better this year, and I'll try to set the right tone in January.
The next few chapters involve a lot of tying up loose ends, which I've been really looking forward to writing. Fortunately I don't have any big battles planned for the imminent future, which is a huge relief, as I feel like I've been fighting the Progenitor War myself over the last year!

Then Tef missed an opportunity to have a sit-down conversation with Voss's daughter and her girlfriend, ... talking about a wealthy, conservative father's thoughts about his daughter being happy in an alien's harem, clearing the air, ... -- Dana's name brings out a lot of baggage for some of the characters, ... just my opinion, ... ;-) ttfn

However, if my count is correct we have been charged 5 times for a completed 172 (Nov, Dec, and now Jan) that is pushing it. I have reduced my membership to $1 and will likely increase it when you deliver a full chapter per month and charge for one. I hope things get better for you soon. Until then, I agree with the others that suggest smaller chapters may be what you need to focus on.

Drop side story updates to the overall story as additional chapters so we get caught up. (you can paste them back in-place later chapters as needed). You can also post artwork, polls and interactions. Just post SOMETHING OF VALUE instead of placeholders. Your subscription base will increase instead of dwindle to nothing and your monthly income will multiply. It’s not rocket science!
