thanks Dennis, .... good job! ;-) ttfn

I asked GPT 4 to rewrite your poem. It's time for Tefler Maniacs, We're zany to the core, So sit back, relax, and just enjoy, You'll crave to read some more. We're Tefler Maniacs, With witty lines that stack, There's baloney in our trousers, But we never do look back. We're totally outrageous, It rains in Spain, they say, Money flows like water, Andromeda Strain's in play. We've got Cock-a-Mamie banter, Tarzan and Jane swing by, There's no shame in our game, Hunchback of Notre Dame's our ally. We're Tefler Maniacs, Boundless energy we pack, As you immerse yourself in our world, Remember, those are the facts!

Dennis

.150: Hey, I got my answer in the latest chapter (#162). they all suffered nausea when they jumped, ... question solved, .... and with their very rushed repair time on Genwynn station it will not allow them the needed time to 'fix' that Barf Generator, ... unless John already made all the necessary parts (he did make upgraded power cores and shield generators for the strike crafts in chapter #160, so maybe at that time he ran the new non-barf items through the little Soild Forge too) for Dana and the 'bots to just slap it together, (time is barely available) while John rewards a few deserving Maliri tummies from Edraeles' 2nd House Valaden Fleet, ... that would be nice, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

.149: Sorry Tef Fan 007, but it is rather catchy, ... hang in there buddy, and I've had a couple of Tom Johnes classic songs in my head for over a week, so you be good, okay? -- and FYI #162 dropped about 8:30 pm PDT, or about 11:30 east coast time, still a close call based on his track record, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

Damn I have the song running through my head now.

Tefler Fan 007

.147: Well, if that's the case, then Tef had better get around to saying that the wormhole generator is 'fixed' in tonight's chapter drop, ... no more barf generator, ... and thank you TF007 and Cignal, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

According to the keeper of the time line Cignal, the wormhole generator has not been fixed yet. John got distracted and made Sakuras swords instead of the parts.

Tefler Fan 007

.145: HEE HAW!!!

Michael56Smith

.144: ... excessive misery, ... yeah good stuff, thanks Rich, ... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

.143: ... and the maniacal song commences: (it's still April in 2023) It's time for Tefler Maniacs, ... and we're Zany to the Max, ... So, sit back and relax, ... You'll press F5 'til you collapse, ... We're Tefler Maniacs! We've got wise cracks by the Stacks, ... .... there's baloney in our slacks, ... we're totally insane y, ... it rains in Spain-y, ... money down the drain-y, ... Andromida Strain-y, .... Cock a Mamie, ... Tarzan and Janey, ... Have no Shame-y, ... Hunchback of Notre Dame-y, ... and there are some facts! -- We're Tefler Maniacs! ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

If that one gets you, how about, Gloom despair and agony on me Deep, dark depression...

WVNCRich

.141: a little nit to pick: ... Is it a 'fixed' wormhole generator or is it still the barf generator? Near the end of chapter #158, Alyssa announced that she had found the error in the Wormhole Schematics, she blamed the nausea math on Xar'aziuth, ... then she helped Dana work out the 'fix' needed, and John began to make the corrected parts that Dana's new Schematics said that they required, .... an easy fix that was interupted by the creation of Sakura's twin runeblades, ... end of chapter, ... then in chapter #159 they were jumping /harassing the Galkiran Fleet again, but no mention was made of the wormhole generator, 'fixed' or not, and later they discussed wormhole jumping to defend the Venkalyn home world from those scout cruisers, but again there was no mention of the improvement to the barf generator, .... perhaps the mentioning the 'fix' install was lost in a re-editing? ... I do assume it has been 'fixed', and that no one got any vomit splashed on their boots, ... ... and offering that wormhole generator upgrade to Rahn'hagon's current dreadnought might make a nice opening conversation starter, ... and John's Mom would really like it, ... plus the loving Son could then be gifting them some significant food stores, both Terran and Maliri, along with a few new recipes for those two to learn, ... also an assortment of shoes and clothes, and lots of music, halo-movies and such too, Oh, ... and a clothes washing machine not made from (evil) black metal, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

.140: ... Tef came out of the gate hot this month (and from the tail end of last month), ... but while I do expect some more words (chapter #162, plus), ... but he also managed to drop one chapter to Literotica (#144) early in April, and it sounded like he'd work to drop a few more soon, ... yet nada so far, .... -- I know there will be some nice gifts under the tree at April's end, but they might not be as much as I'd hoped, .... I am so happy to have Tef writing again, but I can't help but be a bit greedy for more, ... --- oh well, I have my fingers crossed for the conclusion of Gahl'kalgor's fate (and his little boat too), to be determined this month or the next, .... maybe the same for Tom Walker (I still think he needs to break jail, .... be the fugitive 'Rat of the Federation'), .... -- And will Governor Vaughn encourage the Outer Rim to break from the T-Fed's? or will Luce clock him a good one (Ka-Pow), ... -- and will Henry Voss, Charles Harris, and Lynette Deveraux beg John (and Dana) for more high-tech upgrades for the Fleets? and the new tech processes to make those parts, .... Voss industry stocks to climb again, ... Alyssa invests wisely, ... --- Alyssa elaborated on her audacious plan, Lynette’s scowl faded away, to be replaced by a look of incredulity. The Fleet Admiral placed her wine glass on the coffee table, having lost any interest in getting drunk, and listened intently as the young woman spun a captivating narrative. By the time Alyssa had finished describing how she would break the news to High Command, Lynette was actually feeling cautiously optimistic herself, ... *You’d be appealing to their basic human instincts, * Alyssa explained to the captivated officer. *The upper echelons of the Federation might believe they’ve evolved to the peak of sophistication, but we’re all still tribal animals at heart. * -- So, what Audacious idea did Alyssa plant in the Fleet Admiral's pretty head? -- Well, yeah lots to catch up with, ... and I am so sure that the Invictus crew will readily defend against this latest Progenitor, that I am more looking forward to a living and breathing Faye soon, than to how Kal gets his ass(hat) handed to him, ... -- that's enough Yadda-yadda for tonight, .... see ya later, gators, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

.139: ... sorry Rayce, but I have an old Tom Jones song rattling around in my head this week, ... so join the club, ... Hee Haw! there buddy, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

THAAAAAAANKS. Now I have that song on a repeat loop in my head. Granted it was always a great time watching HeeHaw, but now I'll never get to sleep tonight :)

Rayce Royal

You are showing our age with that one. Where you a pickin or a grinnin

20 ton

.136: ... chapter #162 where, oh where, are you tonight? why did leave me here all alone? I searched the world over and thought I found a great tale, ... then, poof, you were gone, .... ;-) ttfn

Still wish more of this was in ebook and audiobook formats too. They would be awesome

WolfKnight22

Kal’s forces act like those of authoritarians, led from the top and no freedom for adapting to conditions. He was distracted but has 14 hours to focus. How will he adjust has me wondering. Which fleet may change course. The male engineers kept the weapons working ,did they leave room to maneuver and aim. Sudden lance and quantum rounds front inside the station would be a surprise. John has put a lot of effort to disable not kill. Time is not his friend. Killing to save lives seems to be the next moral question John is facing. Glad it’s him in fiction and not me in real life.

20 ton

John doesn't seem willing to kill off any girls. Although it didn't seem to be too much of a bother on Larn'kelnar's ship. Especially when the twins went to work! Looking forward to 162 and 163 as well.

bjcreek

.127: at the end of chapter #161, John was going to sleep on his choices, defend the Venkalyn home world, or the Genwynn trade station, with a sizable portion of its males still on board, .... well, the 6 cruisers invading Venkalyn vs 10 fleets approaching the trade station, ... I expect Genwynn to be the one defended, ... and Invictus to trash them good, with the Weapons Platform's help, and I expect them to take out several Galkiran fleets worth of ships, ... just engines or break a few ships apart? ... is it time get deadly serious? ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

.126: Well, 20 ton, you have certainly been thinking TSM lately, good job! ... And yeah, the Invictus's powerful bow wave, and Dana's super intense gravity wells are definitely weapons they now need to employ, .... I just wonder if Genwynn Station (formerly a weapons platform) will unleash a few blasts (destroying centuries of added living spaces), .... and completely surprising those multiple Galkiran fleets, and will the station still have protective shields? ... can't wait for chapters #162 and #163, .... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

The strongest forces they are able to create are Dana’s black holes and the bow wave. Thrall ships are more durable that Brimordian com satellites. Rocking their world may be necessary to save Malari lives. As the only thing damaged so far are engines, fleet commanders may cluster them engine to engine like a balled up hedgehog. A controlled black hole crushing engines would be effective and psychologically terrifying.

20 ton

With Daphne getting ready to control the robots on Kys, is she about to get an upgrade in computing power? The crew’s feelings have increased Ann giving her many compliments as well as her positive interactions helping the crew. Will she hit a next phase as mom is about to wake up?

20 ton

Finished rereading some of the last chapters and a few things made me go hmmm….

20 ton

I understand they are powered by a star thus the heat shields. They have no telepaths so in this fantasy world they could be using it on level one for steel where psychic energy coupled with oxn could produce stronger materials. The soul forge made various strengths depending on psychic energy used. Tef has revealed very little background much less full technical schematics. I wonder if the forgelords were able to retain the knowledge like the Malari energy weapon engineers.

20 ton

.113: Well, 20 ton, it's in the name, 'Star Forges', as they are solar powered, so, no Nymphs required, ... and there are seven of the Forges, ... (or it is in seven parts/sizes?), ... -- the Trankaran's do use them, they work, pretty much, .... it took them several centuries to put them back together after the War in the Heavens, ... and get them working again, ... sort of, ... (Dana can fix it) -- Oh, I do like your Thunder Pig version for the Raptor, ... the A-10, Warthog. is very impressive, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

The star forges will be game changers but did Mel use the nymphs to power them for the best metal. No pain or death just repurposed batteries. He let them go long after the defeat of the achonin. Valada wanted to thank them for their usefulness. The Tark only forge steel ships. They have the minerals but no telepaths. The current Malari ships can’t be discarded or replaced yet because of the need to protect two empires. X probably knows of Larn keeping John running around to protect others. Spread him thin to weaken not destroy other thrall empire. For fast and dirty help for Malari fleets, add improved Malari fighters. Think Ease of pilot transition and fit in launch tubes. Slightly larger and perhaps longer to hold upgrades. Alyssa can thirty shape body and you could soul forge the armor. Six hours spread between six nymphs might provide a psychic workout. Center a Vulcan cannon similar to an A-10.( not the same fire rate)Two under wing Tachon lances and two turret cannons , top and bottom. Cloak it, add a null gyroscope , proginator engines and thrusters and paint it black for camouflage. It would be deadly. They could be useful for the fleet sent to the trade station. I would love to see my favorite fighter pilots in them later on.

20 ton

.111: ...and I want to see how awesome the Star Forges will be after Dana works her magic on them, ... they might crank out her upgraded Raptor class fighters pretty quickly, .... wouldn't that be great, ... --- and a dreadnought destroying, Uber destroyer, Attack vessel as a support ship for the Invictus, ... it's been long discussed by Dana and John, ... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

Google informs: The normal volume varies from 1.5 to 5.0 milliliter per ejaculation. The sperm count varies from 20 to 150 million sperm per milliliter. At least 60% of the sperm should have a normal shape and show normal forward movement (motility). So plenty of scope for minute doses...

jdg45

Since Calara wants to make smaller advanced Raptor size ships to overcome thrall fleets, then John, plus nymphs, need to start recruiting Maliri pilots. Next large group should be all the pilots from Lilyanna fleet. They have the most combat experience.

Tefler Fan 007

.108: -- Way back before the Invictus crew explored the Laranthyran empire's space and the throne world of Laranya, ... I was of the belief that a Progenitor could not 'vat' enough of his spooge to have many millions of thralls at the same time, ... my best guess was for maybe 100 new thrall per load of cum, ... but Larn's teacup ceremony for coming-of-age girls (age 30) blew that idea away, by the thousands, in Larn'kelnar's empire ALL over 30 girls were part of his psychic network, ... but John shows no sign of using a vat or having the Maliri drink cum-smeared tea to join his psychic network of wards, ... Tef might have another idea or two, ... magic health (Synthetic Psychic Cum) Elixer? maybe? -- the Elixer might be a big help in saving the opposing thrall army and Matriarch from suiciding after they are broken from their Progenitor, so it could be handy to have some of the stuff around, if only Doctor Rachel can figure out how to make some SPC Elixer, ... ;-) TFFN

Michael56Smith

.107: Speculation into a possible area of story growth: at the rate John is growing his ward base -- after all his whirlwind visits to the 18 home worlds and fleets of his Council of Matriarchs, and all the rest of Edraele's worlds too (all 15 more of them, after Valaden and the huge Genthalas shipyard), ... he might then have added a few hundred thousand new wards in his network in a year or two, pushing the ward count to a half a million or so (maybe) and that's with all those Nymph Kisses helping to spread his seed to all the good little girls of the protectorate, and also with no rushing off the save the galaxy again, ... So, how might he improve on those numbers, yet keep to a high quality over quantity in his wards, ... His Nymphs Kissing many girls to correct them to those Baen'thelas upgrades (birth ratio and such) are about on a per with Larn's teacup ceremony, numbers wise, but a cum Elixer could be sold/distributed in quart and pint-sized doses, and not just a few molecules per sip, ... So, could Rachel develop a synthetic psychic cum formula (based on John's spunk) that could enter many, many new girls into the network, and could also be mass produced on all the worlds of Maliri Space, then John could pass the one million mark very quickly ... that would boost John over the ten million wards mark even faster, and quite soon thereafter reach the one hundred million mark, then look out Gahl'kalgor's bad brothers, ... and the Maliri population would no longer have a very skewed birth ratio, ... could science meet psychic demand in Tef's universe? YOUR THOUGHTS? ... and truth be told, this cum elixer idea was lifted wholesale from a fan fiction story, ... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

.106: Interestingly enough, I wrote a comment that was removed, ... it involved Mad Jonah Bennings, but an AU, fan fiction version, ... and he was unaged/youthened by John's psychic DNA altering stuff, ... not exactly the type of story that I would look for, but it was an interesting rewrite of the first few dozen chapters of TSM, that included Jonah in a major role, and John not Kinsey 0 straight, .... But it sadly had no 2ndAndrocentric type speculation regarding Jonah's extraordinary origins, (so that was disappointing), .... this time my comment left out most all things that might have caused it to get the hook, perhaps this comment will stay put, ... I do think that, like 2ndAndro-smarty pants, Mad Jonah might be a very interesting yet overlooked character, ... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

.100: ... another tiny typo, I just noticed on my reread, and I don't recall any other mentions of it, ... found this one around Word page 18 of 48: “We’ll need to complete rebuild the right arm, ..." and the 'complete' really s/b 'completely', .... okay that was my contribution to the chapter, ... can scarcely wait for #162, ... stay healthy, stay safe, ... :-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

-- for the record (and you were close), it is GAHL'KALGOR, ... and it means that he thinks that he is a BadAss, ... but he is just an AssHat, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

Great work, Tefler! Fun and interesting! Very much anticipating the next chapters. Thanks!

bjcreek

Tefler, thank you for finishing off 161. Minor typo that I just noticed: she didn’t have manoeuvre s/b she didn’t have to manoeuvre

It’s been fixed

When Alyssa is about to install the Vulcan…. And seconds late(r)

20 ton

In the beginning of the chapter the layrathan princess is called by the pink Nymphs name unless I'm mistaken.

Holly Lowery

It feels like they are toying with the thrall fleets having only disabled about 30% of them. Rill seems to be only directly controlling the enemy ships now. The script or a VI could stay in charge when she leaves allowing a few battleships to keep destroying the rest of their fleet. When it’s time to take on the dreadnought Rill could have the script direct a dozen battleships to pound away at it’s shields. The rest of the fleet must know where the dreadnought is so they can circle around it. I’m surprised Rill doesn’t tap into a battleship’s data to keep track of the dreadnought’s location.

AzureReader

Tom’s dad could appeal to the fleet admiral. Getting a premonition she could contact Alyssa. The gold in his eyes could be noticed and rill could inspect the Briomordians communication records with out leaving the battle. Rill appearing over the hackers coms would be an exciting twist. John could order them to return to Malari territory. He has claimed them. A quick way to shut down invasion fleets would be hacking them while stopped and down loading a script for the power cores to overload the engines then power regulators to the weapons when the shields were raised. Using a script was discussed earlier.

20 ton

When the blonde teenage pulled back from the hug, *teenager*; A few seconds late, two maintenance robots.... *later*

Fred Hunter

.77: the Wormhole generator gets fixed whenever Alyssa reviews all the Progenitor wormhole schematics math and finds the hiccup, ... -- oops, she did that couple of chapters and half a local year ago, ... oh well, it's on Sparks fix-it to-do list, ...soon, I hope, .... --- I hope she uses some of her patented DECA (Dana Enhanced Crystal Alyssium), you know, the good stuff, .... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

Someone would have to get word to her and John about Tom's plight. So far, it doesn't seem to have crossed anyone's mind to do so. Only way I see it happening is if Tom is allowed to appeal his case directly to the Fleet Admiral, she looks at it closely and determines that something isn't quite adding up, so she reaches out to Alyssa. That'll put his case on hold until John can return to Terra.

Jedi Khan

I as others have also said am not interested in the Tom Walker subplot. However - I thought Alysa would show up and do her shining light thing and find Tom not guilty

Bill

Nice chapter. Thanks for the quick finish! Hope you can keep the momentum to finish 162 and 163. Surprised we didn’t get some reaction from thralls on the introduction of the two new ships. Missed opportunity for a lot of surprise, cursing and frustration which is part of the payoff. Also, when is that wormhole generator getting fixed?

AzureReader

That was another satisfying chapter! I am really curious what Gal’kalor is up to in the next chapters… :o Best wishes and my condolences from Germany Tefler :)

Mapstar

LOVED the new chapter - Well Done!

Thanks for the new chapter Tefler. Very much appreciated.

Thanks again Tefler.

Good job with the quick finish Tefler. I know you can catch up this month.

DemonHunterCole

I've updated the chapter and added another 6k words. :)

Tefler

Thank you for a great read. Mayhealth come to your family

Walter Davis

.56: -- sadly, if you write the way we normally speak, such errors tend to creep in, ... but the chapter was still exceptionally good writing, ... I loved #161, part one, ...-- And I think, not certain, but I think that since the thought was the Queen's, ... the way it was written might be okay, after all it was Her House, ... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

It's sad when you lose a beloved parent. I had a father and step-father, both dead. I feel for you mighty writer. May your family heal.

Vince

"The Maliri Queen watched as her House flagship glided". Corrected. Doesn't have to be "House's flagship". Minor.

bjcreek

.52: ---it was reported earlier, and Tef has already fixed it, ... nice catch though, ... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

Sorry to hear of the loss of your father, as well as the health issues you have been incurring. I totally understand the reasons for the delay in publication of further adventures of TSM. Its been a wait but thankfully we can see the light now and it's much appreciated. Hope everything improves for you

Duncan Smith

You would have to take that up with Patreon and your payment format.

Khuri

.47: ,,,, b-but Tef's Three Square Meals chapters are all worth a re-read, ... and they are that good too, .... plus, this is the first new words from our author in months, so you might just sit back and enjoy reading it again, .... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

It's good to see that life hasn't entirely shut you down. Please do send out a notice once you're done making changes larger than grammatical and spelling corrections.

Jedi Khan

I just came to get the chapter portion that was written, but now I will wait as I hate having to reread something so soon. When things were tacked on at the end, I was fine, There was some way like asterisks or something to see the new stuff, but if Teff is going to fiddle in the middle, I personally can't stand that as then I have to reread the entire chapter again.

Grandizer

I've written 2.5k more today, so I should hopefully be finished with the chapter tomorrow. I would just update the posted chapter with the additional scenes, but I want to go back and flesh out the battle with some hacking action from Irillith.

Tefler

I'm disappointed. We paid for 2 chapters in advance. For some reason it said my payment didn't go thru, so I had to pay to access the placeholder and rejoin the site. Like some feed back on this as this is the second time I've had to rejoin site to access what I've already paid for

jaymie worrell

.39: I would agree to that, but would Tef go along with it? ... :-l TTFN

Michael56Smith

.38: ... That's PERFECT, especially the Red-haired darlings, ... thanks Tony, ... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

I appreciate this chapter, and as far as I am concerned, it fully counts as a month's contribution. It certainly would for other authors on Patreon that I follow - although, admittedly, they don't promise a particular chapter per month, just that one gets access to the story as it is written. I suggest that part 2 of this chapter be put out as the fulfillment of another month's - as a help to catching up.

Stephen Paynter

Hi Bill, I was also on the Vulcan M163 from 1975 till they fased it out around 91-92.

.31: wow, thank you Tef for this (partial) chapter, .... love having new TSM to read, .... still your top quality too, ... the upgrades-on-the-run have been awesome, .... and what do you mean, the Tom Walker subplot is concluding soon, .. after a hundred chapters? Michael56Smith

.30: regards Tamolith, nothing so far, but more to come, .... just hang in there, John must get those pesky Galkirans dealt with first, .. ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

I’m really not invested in the Tom Walker subplot at all. I was much more interested in how Tamolith was adjusting to being brought into the fold and having Alyssa in her head, but we never heard anything more about her.

Jeff

Just reading about the Quantum Vulcan. I was a Senior Gunner on a 20mm Vulcan canon when I was in the Army 1969-1971. SWEET

Bill

Thank you, Tefler! I’m glad to see you posting again. I empathize with your situation and I wish you all the best. I really enjoyed this first part of Chapter 161. I’m hoping that you’ll soon be finished with the Tom Walker subplot. You’ve had a number of such over the life of this story, but honestly, this one wasn’t the best executed of them, IMO. It would be good if one of the old-fashioned anti-hacking techniques proved to be useful, too. You know, something like having physically disconnected copies of older data (e.g. Iron Mountain) that can be pulled from storage and compared against data from the same time period to check for tampering?

Evan

Many thanks. So glad you are back at the keyboard.

Antoine Scrivener

Did Tef just mistake Ailita for Auralei or was that intentional? Is everyone pretending Auralei is Ailita because Ailita is a nymph and could be expected to have different skin color?

AzureReader

I just did a quick editing pass to check for typos. I spotted a few and fixed them, but let me know if you find any more. :)

Tefler

Thanks Tefler, sorry for your loss. Loved the new upgrades. Was a bit confused with the Auralei Ailita thing but figured it out and was just delighted with the story and to reengage with the characters. Daphne will make a great general.

Malcolm Rickarby

Glad to see you doing better tefler really enjoyed what was written Sorry for your loss though

dakota downey

Oops! All the earlier references with the Maliri are supposed to be Auralei, who is the Larathyran Empress. I've gone back and corrected it. Thanks for letting me know!

Tefler

I can't believe how obsessed I am over the Walker storyline.

Jason

Huh you then have Ailita talk about Kehlarissa, but I'm just confused by the naming.

Evan

I forget the Empress' name... Starts with a K though, right?

Evan

You say the Empress is Ailita, but isn't Ailita the pink nymph?

Evan

Sorry for your loss. It sucks losing a loved one. Just always remember the good times with your father.

Anthony Kester

Since then, I keep being reminded of my time with him in my childhood. It's strange that I knew my father for 48 years, but it's the oldest memories that are the most poignant.

Tefler

I'm fine now with regard to the gall stones. I had surgery to remove the one that got stuck, so now I'm just waiting for another operation to take out the actual gall bladder. The NHS moves at a glacial pace though, so that won't be scheduled for at least another three months. My father's death came as quite a shock, as I only found out he was really declining when I was released from hospital. I was fortunate to be able to see him just before he was put on a heavy dose of morphine for the pain, so we were all able to say a proper goodbye.

Tefler

Thanks for this chapter look after your family
