Status update

Thanks for all your well wishes. I'm out of hospital again, and made a full recovery after the operation to remove the gall stone. I feel much better already, and no longer look like a Simpsons character.
I'll have to have another operation in a few months time to remove the gall bladder, but hopefully I won't suffer any more problems until then.
Unfortunately, my father's health has been rapidly declining while I was in hospital, probably related to his previous battle with Lymphoma. He's not been eating, has had numerous falls, and is now sleeping for 20+ hours a day. I'm heading off to see him tonight as the doctors don't think he will last until the weekend.
So, that's where I'm at right now. I'd previously planned out the scenes for the upcoming chapter and have started writing again, but I can't really give you any estimates for when I'll be finished, due to the situation with my father. I'll try to keep you updated where possible.

.156: ... and that sneaky Tef got his health all better, and then he dropped chapter #161, part one on us (31 March), with the completed chapter only a few days later (3 April), .... wow, at this rate, we'll also have #162 this month, and possibly #163 too, maybe, ... it's possible, ... ;-) TTFN

2023-03-31 16:23:26 +0000 UTCOnce he is feeling better and gets caught up he may want to consider changing his tiers to a flat monthly rate instead of per chapter. I have recently started supporting another author that does it that way. It may relieve the animosity that was caused by precharging I know it seems like semantics but the way he has been doing it upset people to the point he no longer has any income through this site until he gets caught up . A monthly pledge is just that he just has to state when you sign up that there is no guarantee of content per month. Just food for thought.

2023-03-31 11:37:26 +0000 UTCHey Wally, my minesweeper was in drydock in Sasebo, Japan when the PT boats attacked the Turner Joy and the Maddox in the Gulf of Tonkin. Called us back and we headed Southeast from Japan, "Destination Unknown ". Steamed back and forth off the mouth of the Saigon River with a Task Force for two weeks, then they decided on a " show of force", and sent us 3 minesweepers up the river to Saigon. Spent 3 days then back down the river.

I suspect that Tef will kick us a chapter sooner rather than later, in spite of his troubled times, ... he does love his fans and fan support, ... he had #161 half ready way back before most of this trouble (Covid, gall stones, family matters) began, .... and to finish/complete the Galkirin invasion and Gahl'kalgors' fate wrapped up is likely rather high on his personal list of things to do, ... we shall see,.... around April 1st or so, ... maybe, .... ;-) TTFN

Made many trips from Haiphong to Saigon evacuating anyone who did not like the Cong....moved them to Saigon...
