Pledge tier states we're pledging an amount per chapter that we get early access to, not per promise that a chapter is coming. These placeholder charges are not what's listed, not what we've signed up for, and have become a horrible habit of his. I was fine with it the first few times, as I understand that life happens. Now, it's become routine. Last month having two placeholders, and not even chapter previews to go along with it, was a very disturbing sign. This needs to end, or I'm certain that a lot of us are going to leave.

Only 4 days away from a half done/slapped together chapter, bad excuses why things went bad and another placeholder to "Spread out the payments".

So 156 and 157 should have some big scenes in them. 156) will answer the Faye questions and also will set up Maels defense turrets to target GK forces. Should be something with Zelig talking to Lynette. I firmly believe Tefler set us up for a twist with seeing Faye in the tank and John probably missed a cloned body for Athena laying off to the side. Giving Athena a body would put both Athena and Alyssa at full Kyth’faren strength like John. Chapter will end with them Jumping in front of the leading edge of thrall ships to deploy spider mines. 157) the battles will begin and maybe we will get a one liner from Calara, “For the Damocles!!!!”, before she unloads quantum flux cannon and Nova lances on the ships to destroy engines. There will be some cat and mouse action with Thrall fleets and Invictus leading them to Kyth’shara. Probably some issues with Lynette and high Command. Some Walker trial scenes. Maybe a few scenes of GK getting pissed off that John is disabling his fleets. Maybe he drains some for failing him. 50/50 chance John Challenges GK at end of chapter. Just my random thoughts 🤔😁😜🍺

Definition of a Patreon differs from creator to creator. Effectively, you supply money, the creator supplies something. In this case, the membership states that we pledge a certain amount per chapter, not that we pledge a certain amount for a promise that a chapter is coming. Yes, the amount is small. No, that doesn't mean the principal is meaningless or ceases to exist. You personally might be ok with Tefler deciding to charge you however many chapters in advance he wants, as often as he decides, but not everyone feels that way. All many of us want is for Tefler to return to charging for chapters he produces, not a promise that a chapter will come.

Michael, The good standing wasn't lost because he wrote his desires and expectations, but because he has made a habit of pre-charging his supporters for work that he hasn't done & delivered, and for having no communication with us other than at the very end of the month. Pre-charging at the end of the month, saying he'll get caught up early, then finally getting caught up and pre-charging again on the last day of the month... this is what has become the expected routine. This isn't communication, this isn't living up to the expectations you give your supporters, and this isn't a proper way to treat the people who you rely upon.

These are Not set in stone deadlines, and we all know that he has historically only posted at/near the end of the month (to get paid) for over the last year or so, ... but, so far, (knock on wood) he has always come through on making his preview/placeholder chapters good, but as much as he tries, he can't seem to catch up, ... if we end up having to forgive him an advance or two for him to break even, THEN there will Finally be a true basis for complaint. But so far, he has made good on his pledges, and we are getting new chapters each and every month, ... better than a few years back, ...Also, Tef does REALLY NEED to catch up on his free sites, (over 12 chapters behind) -- now that warrants a real Complaint, ... he needs to post a chapter or two a couple of times each month, catch up to only 4 or so chapters off the current Patreon chapter, 6 chapters tops. Figured I owed you that for claiming my earlier comments were biased. I hold no bias .... I happen to enjoy TSM. I'm just sick and tired of Tefler treating this as a hobby. It stopped being a hobby when he gave up his day job to do this. I don't care who he is .... if he had missed as many deadlines as he has over the past two years, and put forward expense claims for work not yet done, he would have been sacked from ANY employment he may have held (unless he was a politician) ;)
