I’m daily working on reducing discriminations and, it never involves accepting rude behavior from women based on their gender. I know a lot of humans who can be obnoxious and suffer from discriminations like sexism, racism, transphobia, ableism. They aren’t exclusive. It has nothing in common. So, would you mind not systematically insult us, who don’t like Arashi based on her actual rude behavior. I agree that she was a little dismissive here, but I don’t think she’s been overly rude. She was mostly awkward after Souta’s awkward joke and moved past it. Do I think she could have involved him in the conversation more? Perhaps asked about his job? Absolutely. But I still believe she could be a good person / at least have redeeming qualities. We still don’t know anything about her.

The previous chapter nao walked on ahead without getting souta to walk next to him, and in this chapter sure, he asked souta ONE question but… that’s it. And then it’s back to talking with arashi, instead of pulling souta in and explaining to him what’s so cool about x, y, and z for example. :/ Again, they r kids, tho. I guess I just expected better from nao?

I agree that souta should include himself, but i also think that she shouldn't be so dismissive. even a tiny laugh probably would have cleared the tension and made it better. She's giving off the impression that souta isn't wanted there. she hasn't even talked to souta besides when nao introduced her.

I've been in his shoes and I hate to say it, it's not just her responsibility to include him, he also needs to be proactive instead of just... Moving away from them, literally. I used to be stuck in a thought pattern of "poor me they haven't included me and now I'm the odd one out" and it's just not how things work... It would be different if souta was actively trying to make conversation and she would just stonewall him but no. Her and nao are just into music, and I personally can get really sidetracked and tunnel visioned when I'm doing/talking about something I like where I need to be snapped out of it lmao

2024-09-20 05:34:05 +0000 UTCi feel like i make myself a fool with words so im not gonna explain everything in my head i have in mind during these parts of the story, but i DO just wanna say: ouh.... seeing souta feel a little left out/like he doesn't fit in here hits hard, man. regardless how this turns out, i hope our sunshine boy can get another win to brighten up his rays again, hopefully for longer/not just a temporary fix. boy deserves some comfort/tlc with the things he does for others and their sake, without having something that hurts him following it. he deserves something done for his sake, and/or at least something that will boost his confidence on how good he is, too 🥺 (HOWEVER. i know there is more pain incoming. the tear strains/rough skin below souta's eyes on the coloured piece with nao clasping souta's hand and walking him along, shared last year during christmas eve, and was told to be an "upcoming scene".... tells me pain is coming before theres comfort with that scene taking place again, lmao. if it doesn't end up being related to/happening in this arc of the story, that is.) anyway. THAT SAID. i live for the pain. and the comfort that follows... eventually. sometimes sooner, sometimes later, lmao. this is far from being all i have in my head about this despite the length of this comment, but i could be here all day. thank you for the lovely art and storytelling, and the lovely, complex, evergrowing and everlearning characters aina ♥
