I was just simply speaking about one interaction that bugged me (and others from what I saw) but again this is not an attack on her And I love discussions especially when folks don’t agree, as long as, everyone is being respectful and polite. I remember when people were pissed about Inoue when she confessed to Nao and when she shared her grandfather's story, and I thought it was absurd that people were saying that, cause I've always loved her as a character and didn't see anything wrong with what she did. But I've never once repressed anyone from feeling that way. I even remember discussing it with people who were mad at her at the time and we showed our povs in a respectful way and that's it haha I was very upset when they explicitly used words and curses that are gender trashing, yes, cause that is super shitty. But other than that, dude, let people be mad if they want and are not harming anyone 🤷‍♀️

I understand you completely and agree 100% with everything you just said! I've always commented a lot, like, everywhere lol And my tone always changes depending on what the comic is making me feel. But never have I ever mistreated others or, especially, Aina. I think it's pretty clear how much this story means to me hehe That's why I was extreme in my comment this time, that right now I do hate them (or rather what they're doing, rn it's the same for me really) and I don't wanna hear shit about it. It really is better not to read the comments sometimes, because yes, people can be really passive-aggressive (maybe even I am being here in this comment, considering I got tired of directly talking to rude people about it) and have one-track minds that think everytime we criticize something, we're based on gender or sexuality or capacitism or whatever, not even knowing if we go through the same. I'm learning that, if you're conscious that you're not intentionally harming anyone, nor expecting/forcing anyone to agree with you (I feel the same about not minding that other people don't think what happened now, for example, is a big deal, even though for me it really is), that has to be enough. Unfortunately, we can't know absolutely everything that triggers absolutely everyone in the whole world to keep from saying it. Of course we do it when we know we can, but it's not always possible and people must be responsible for learning how to deal with what they feel too, cause in reality, the world is not gonna be aware of our triggers all the time. Not to mention that triggers may sometimes come from places that aren't intentional and for others may even be silly, when for us it isn't (and I totally respect that some people might relate to what they read in the comments and get sad. It's happened to me and it's totally valid. Which doesn't mean we don't have responsibility on how we deal with it). It's interesting how some people are comprehensive that the fictional characters have their reasons to act the way they are and that it doesn't make them bad people, while they're judging us irl, who can also be triggered by what's being depicted and express it just cause we theoretically feel safe here to do so. That's what therapy and other forms of self-care are for, you know, to help us strengthen our ability to deal with what hurt us and understand ourselves better enough so this kind of thing doesn't make us drown in negative feelings ✌🏼 Anyways, I hope you can feel better and know that you have space here too and that from everything I read from you, I don't think you've said anything wrong or offensive to real people 💚

I feel like in this situation they’re all in the wrong, even if ever so slightly. First Arashi is in the wrong for the way she approaches them and imposes herself in their plans. A better way of doing this in my opinion would have been to ask them what they were doing to make sure she wasn’t interrupting and then maybe say “oh, if you guys don’t have anything else planned what do you say we go check out a place I told Nao about” or something like that. Then, Nao is in the wrong because he’s only focusing on one of his friends instead of both. He should be the one making connections between the other two as he’s the one in the middle, like he could say something like “hey Souta, maybe you could find some new music you like, you should talk to Arashi about that, she knows a lot of cool bands” And as for Souta, he clearly is hurt and he’s not the one in the wrong inherently but he should still try to insert himself more, walk closer to them, ask them questions about what they’re looking for etc… Anyway, those are just ways I think could make this situation much better in the next update and no matter what, they are teenagers, still learning a lot and making mistakes and it’s fine as long as they can understand what they did wrong and correct it for future interactions

Ikr! Thanks for saying this. 🩵 That felt weird that people were judging the way I receive this chapter. Like. I’m profoundly happy to read this webcomic and I express it by sharing my feels. I get that everybody doesn’t like it, but I’m not forcing it on people, we are all sharing our feels. I feel like we always did this under the chapters and nothing was ever wrong with this. Why now? I have feels about Souta being left out by them two, and I think it’s sane to share it and to say I don’t appreciate such behavior. I think it’s rude and very disrespectful. It doesn’t mean I’m looking down on Aina’s work, at all. On the contrary! I can’t imagine her not liking seeing us going mad over each part of this chapter cause she meant us to feel left out with Souta. The art choices are meant to make us side with Souta. Not to mention this isn't the first time she does this. I mean, I understand not everybody does it to be mean. I have adhd, so I know it's difficult to focus on other things when your mind is focused on something specific. But it doesn't make this kind of behavior any less rude. And if I ever do this to people (which now I know how not to do, because it really is the WORST for me, so rude!), I expect others to call me out on it. Then I'd apologize and explain I was just overexcited. I would NOT continue ignoring other people's existence. That's really shitty, it's like that person just doesn't matter. People have to learn that thinking differently don't have to lead to fights and it doesn't mean someone is expecting everybody else to agree with them. And I'll keep saying this: this is a fictional story that toys with our emotions. We're allowed to feel them intensely. I'm sure that's even Aina's intention in many parts of the comic, to make us feel deeply. Some of these comments are interesting… I understand the frustrations pero like let us not forget that these characters are meant to be in high school. And ummm last time I checked the communication skills of teenagers - especially ones that are so irrevocably down bad for their bestie - are abysmal to say the least. And both Souta and Nao are very emotionally intelligent but it’s still good to be reminded that like they are still teenagers and a lot of the pain and emotional conflict that is felt during that time -especially in young baby bisexuals -is mostly internalized.

However, you knew it was a slow burn and this is a project that while available behind a paywall for the earliest access, It is still available for free on various platforms. Also the creator chose to give us access to a deeply personal project of theirs. And honestly Aina has given us so much beautiful and tender moments in this story without them being together that I know once it happens it will be just as lovely.

I know that it's a harmless request of Arashi and I don't think she has any ill intentions. Then again I don't think it's ok to cut inbetween a meeting of friends if not impolite, really.
