A few things about the JOURNEY this video has gone on.
SPONSOR: This video is the first of my video essays to have a sponsor! Raid Shadow Legends. Yep, the ones that you've probably seen crop up everywhere. I hope it doesn't come across as sell-out, but I think I've been pretty open about both my recent job loss and underperforming video, so more income and support from other sources is now something of a necessity for me. I hope you understand. Also, I have played the game and it's not actually that bad, so at least I'm not plugging something I don't actually think sucks!
FOOTAGE: What was meant to make this video so simple made it so hard! I had the DVD for Monsters Inc but when I zoomed into the part I needed, it was too blurry. Then I got the Blu-Ray, still too blurry. This led to trying the 4K version but no device I own can play it at that resolution. Then and incredibly stupid idea happened...
BIG SCREEN: So you'll notice a gap in the footage (around 03:30). This is because on Monday, I'll be going to an actual cinema to play this scene on a movie screen! I was lucky enough to be in the room with someone from Cineworld and when I pitched the idea to them they loved it and have hooked me up! This isn't a paid sponsor, zero cash exchanged hands. They don't even ask for an acknowledgement but I will give them a thanks at the end of the video anyway.
Other missing things: Animation, Music Bed, Outro VO (thanking Cineworld etc.)

I checked and they don't mention anything in the commentary. I did also try to reach out to the artist from the daily but no response! It's all a cover up for the cOnPiRaCy!!! !

Had an opportunity though to go all "Gam- Film Theory" and that the Giraffe was secretly a Waternoose spy put there as insurance and used for an eventual sequel hook...! Nah. Your explanation makes a lot of sense actually. I wonder if they say anything about it on the commentary track?
