"The Rite of the Blood Eagle"
Added 2024-02-12 19:11:52 +0000 UTCThis photoshoot was loosely inspired by the rite of blood eagle (of course due to it's gruesome nature it's only an artistic representation).
For those of you who don't know - the blood eagle was a method of ritually executing a chosen member as detailed in late (Christian) skaldic poetry. It appears in just two instances in Norse literature that's why many historians is aceptical if such practice even existed.
Now to the update - I am going to the mountains in two days and I planned few photoshoots that I am really excited about. I am not going to say anything more because I have to prepare a lot of things for them and will need some help with that but if everything go accordingly to plan - the photos will be AMAZING!
