If you were travel to a specific period of time in history...
Added 2021-04-14 02:38:18 +0000 UTCWhich period would you travel to (AND LIVE THROUGH IT TILL YOU DIE)
And which country/faction would you travel to?
Just curious haha!
For me, ofc you guys already know the answer. I'd like to be an ordinary Roman citizen (well if I could be a noble dude that'd be GREAT) during Trajan or Hadrian's year.
The reason you ask? Lots of sex, wines and foods >_<

2021-04-14 14:07:18 +0000 UTCI like to go with future history - I'm thinking of the episode in the original Star Trek - The City on the Edge of Forever - with a time portal. I'd like to go and live in this time and be able to use the time portal to explore without undoing history. I'd meet Cleopatra, Helen of Troy, an 18 year old Jennifer O'Neil and Gal Gadot, and that is in just the first few months of the exploration - all possible in this future history (plus I'd live a Long time since I'd have the benefit of medicine 4 centuries in advance of our own). For a fantasy, go big or go home, right?

2021-04-14 04:10:30 +0000 UTC1999 is when I turned 30, and yes you are correct, it was a golden moment. But my second would be in the same era of time as your original. The lives people lived in those early times may not be as primitive as we think. In fact, it clearly seams they had a much better understanding of what was really important and what was not.

2021-04-14 03:38:29 +0000 UTC1980 - 2000 is golden indeed, the ideological war is cooling down and everything else (at least in Europe and in the States) are rising, there is more progress being made than troubling issues being brought up. Personally, I'd like to be a kid born in the 70s and hit my 30s in early 2000.

2021-04-14 03:17:33 +0000 UTCI would like to roll back to the eighties when I was in the Corps and do everything all over again! Was an exciting time to exist, while President Reagan putting things "straight". Just like any other time anyone else would choose, there was negatives and parts of history that in hindsight were not exactly as they were thought to have been... For me, I was 17/18-year-old and saw a lot of the world in the dark and filled full of unknown foes just out of sight. What a way to travel the world. There was no internet that let everyone get a boxed view of everything. If you wanted to see or experience something then, you had to go out and do it. The good, bad and the ugly, all were just mere flashes in time now. Some had more meaning than other, but all were just grains of sand. I hope everyone who wishes too, once this is cleared up, could go out and see as much for themselves.
