Well, as many probably guessed, Emma couldn't break through the wall. She just doesn't have enough strength for this "exercise" yet. Did it upset her? I think that - very much. And it probably upset her boyfriend even more. Who by all means decided that his girlfriend should be the most powerful and strong, and of course no Bot will prevent this, not a single chance! He is even willing to go to various violations to achieve this! In general, Emma and Derek lost their temper a little. We'll find out soon what will come of it.
