It gets me thinking that those can’t all be the fruits. I mean, what about aciai, the supposed supper fruit? What if Mel’s partner finds something like it and does go and saves the day by punching? And not everything has to end with bursting, what if even after bursting, the smoothie queen reconstituted in to a new super fruit of its own, or if it could integrate machinery into its own construct with anything it touches? Nanotech has so much potential for both ends of the spectrum!

Hope Mel is ok in the end- would hate to have her either just absorbed into the Smoothie Queen for good or wind up simply taking mental control of the Smoothie Thing Abomination but wind up being stuck as that huge fruit monstrosity. Of course, it would be nice to have a clear full body shot of the smoothie queen too before this is all over.

avocados are fairly neutral in flavor so they make a good addition to smoothies if you want a more creamy texture without using milk.

This story has truly become a great example of "different strokes for different folks". But I really do hope it has a good outcome so Mel and Blume can go back to being buddy cops that perhaps get periodically caught up in different fetish based situations/stories but somehow come out no worse for wear.
