WIP: Toon Goo TFs
Added 2025-09-25 18:58:13 +0000 UTCSo, here's a project I think might be fun. You see, I am burnt out on commissions, but I had so much fun making the slime Disgust TF, I thought, "why not make a rainbow of TFs like that?"
Some suggestions, a few polls later and I have the groundwork set for some fun images. My problem? I want to market some of these, but I don't know how or if I should...
I'm thinking a Your Character Here style, 3-stage transformation, but the end results are pre-determined characters. My problems are:
1.) I don't have enough time or attention to do EVERY inquiry that comes in, meaning I only want to do one of each color/character. So I'm not sure how to take in inquires for these without it seeming like gambling (I'd only take payment from the winner.)
2.) I don't know if I SHOULD monetize ALL of these. After all, they're supposed to be for fun, but a little extra money is always helpful. Plus, you guys, my Patrons, deserve some extra benefits too for supporting me so much! So at least, 1 or 2 of these should be free to Patrons, but can't decide how to decide without it seeming like gambling...
So I'm asking all of ya'll for feedback, on how to choose winners, price point (if any), and whether this is good idea at all.
My thoughts so far: 3-Stage Your Character Here slime TF into a predetermined character for $50. 10 Characters total.
Red: Red She-Hulk. Orange: Starfire. Yellow: Fluttershy. Green: Poison Ivy. Blue: Lapis Lazuli. Indigo: Guinevere. Purple: Widowmaker. White: Charlie. Gray: Vaggie. Black: Martian Queen

But to actually answer you're questions for feedback. If you wanted to do something special like ones that are patreon exlusive characters? would be the "free ones" so do speak. As for the rest you can do a status of a raffle the opportunity to pay for X Character slime tf. All that reply is placed on the wheel of names and whoever wins gets the invoice?

2025-09-26 20:51:02 +0000 UTCOh, sounds fun ^^ You could make it into an YCH auction, where people bid on them, and have a auto-buy/insta-buy option set to $50 (or higher) for each one. That way, each one will definitely get sold, even if not all of them will get sold for the max price. I know I'll definitely be (trying) to get red or indigo ^^ I'm unsure how you can do it to make it feel less commission-like and still get some money from it though. Maybe do a few as rewards for a few select Patreons, do a few for fun, and sell the rest? I don't think a raffle will work, because of rules on Patreon (and DeviantArt).
