Future Project Idea - Battalion Shave Scene with Witcher Women, and changes to how I will post later in the year.

So I like to challenge myself with projects progressively more ambitious than the ones i have done before. My last big one was rotoscoping the headshave scene from G.I. Jane, and if you follow my deviantart work as well, you saw ones like the Black Widow shave. So both of those were made to be smaller files by cutting frames out to reduce the workload. I want to do something much more ambitious for my next project. I want to rotoscope a scene, but not cut any of the frames out this time. So I work from these GIFs taken from movie scenes, so it isn't exactly the insane 24frames per second standard movie frame rate, but this in total means a composite animation broken into 4 parts, each one being 160 frames, for a total of 640 frames. For context, the G.I. Rapunzel one was 115 frames, and took months, so this project will take significantly longer to do right. However, I don't plan to start on this one just yet.

I am obviously working on the Inch by Inch story heavily right now. i have plans for how that will conclude in the coming months, and where I want to go with future comics after that. My idea is this larger project will start after Inch by Inch concludes, become weekend work, and I'll do it at my own pace, while doing comic pages during the week. This also ties into something I'll need to address as the year comes closer to it's end.

So if you haven't read my info on the Apple subscription drama, here's the very quick TLDR.

In November 2025, Apple is forcing all patrons to go to a subscription model and ditch the monthly pledge model in order for Patreon to stay on the Apple App store. I have delayed getting onto the subscription model until now because the monthly form works better for my scheduling. Basically, subscription means you get charged on the day you pledge, and then on that same day exactly one month later the pledge goes for renewal, instead of all pledges renewing on the start of the month, which is what i have now. So this will affect the timing of collecting the payments for the various commission tiers mostly. It also means my posting will need to focus on a weekly schedule instead of a monthly schedule.

So that's my plan, as the months approach November, I will be slowly moving to a strict 2 comic pages per work week, and animation work on the weekends schedule. I will also need to rethink the limits on the commission tiers to account for them not starting on the first of the month, but I'll solve that problem later (please patreon, give me a notification tool for tracking patron pledge start and stop).

I hope this hasn't been too rambly. I hate having to adjust my whole workflow to fit the will of a corporate entity, but that's the downside of using creators sites like this one. Things change. On the whole, patreon has been a decent website to host on.

Thanks for reading. Look forward to the next Inch by Inch page.
