One thing I learned from this project is that coloring an animated sketch isn't necessarily easier than inking it first. If I ink it I can use the pixellated fill-in mono pen, which allows me to color with the fill tool easily. It's more work to ink but then less work to color. Future animations are gonna either be sketches or ink with color, unless I experiment with some kind of monochromatic style...
