That era was when Jin had a habit of finding armys' posts about hobi --usually long letters about how great he is lol-- and leaving a message for him in the replies (usually a request for hobi to go get a drink with him). The fan theory was that he did it so Hobi would see the nice posts about him, since they get notifications for each others activity. It was cute.

I realized I was a jin bias after seeing a clip of him in one of their tour documentaries where he's lying on the floor while his physical therapist or personal trainer is getting him to stretch, but Jin keeps being silly about it and making the guy laugh. And I thought, damn if I was that trainer I would have fallen in love with this fool.... Oh, wait. 😅 This was after a streak of being totally lovestruck by one jin clip after another, but that particular clip was the one that made me realize it. I definitely prefer money as a gift. I'm pretty picky about the things I buy and it stresses me out a bit to have things I don't particularly want but have to keep because they were gifts and I appreciate the sentiment. (in part because my apartment is so small that clutter builds up really fast.) I get that for some people gifts are their love language though, so to them a really thoughtful gift shows you care and are thinking about them.... (which sucks because I'm awful at gift giving even to the people I love and know best in the world haha)

Anyway, they buy each other sweet gifts, too, but their thing is generally unhinged. haha

And well... Jimin sometimes appears and we joke about Yoongi forgetting his password or deleting the app bc he's barely there). 2025-12-05 16:52:55 +0000 UTCSo Jin is my bias-wrecker and he has been since the start. My bias changed...I was Jimin biased for the first 8 months and then j-hope snatched my soul at a concert. But Jin has always been my main #2. I went to my first concert as a super baby ARMY. I'd heard of BTS just about a month before I bought scalper tickerts to see them at Citi Field in 2018. I didn't even know some of the songs they sang. But when Jin did Epiphany live...he kind of changed my life. Like I'm a millennial...it's not like I'd never heard about the concept of self-love. But being in that stadium with Jin and ARMY singing so earnestly "I'm the one I should love in this world,"...for the first time I internalized that message. I felt it in my bones. The revelation (epiphany, I guess) hit me like a truck and I've genuinely loved myself unconditionally ever since. Just like I've loved BTS and ARMY unconditionally, too. That's my Jin bias (wrecker) story. :)
