So, what to do with the next patch?
Added 2024-07-18 18:43:20 +0000 UTCI'm gonna be real with you boys. You guys won't be seeing the next patch for at least another year or two depending on mod traffic and work speed. So, here lies a question;
Do you prefer to have unfinished, unstable stage-by-stage test patch releases... or trust me on this one?

2024-07-19 09:31:10 +0000 UTCI do believe that a close beta is good for rooting out bugs as there are more people in to make strange cases of playing that would help discover bugs, but I also trust Milky and his team to cook this up!

I stand by whatever you decide to do, Milky, your mod is amazing, if it wasn't for it and IroncladLion's introduction video, I doubt I would be such a passionate member of the Starsector community. I hope to see it flourish.

2024-07-18 19:10:48 +0000 UTCGiven you’ve committed to not doing crunch and making the final leg of this mod’s 10+ year journey the best it can be, having to deal with the extra stress of public beta releases might not be worth it. While QA is important, I’m sure the people on the bakery discord would work fine for that. And besides, this is your mod. More frequent updates on twitter and here would be cool but don’t force yourself to. In the words of Wiseman: Relax and do your thang.
