{UPDATE} Romance Autonomy + Faithfulness Traits V2.1

You have installed them correctly. Both CAS (personality trait) version and the Reward (gameplay trait) version show up in the reward store for you to pick. This is for people who use More CAS Traits and need to add extra traits in gameplay mode. 😄 You may ignore them being in the store if you don’t use this feature.

Hey, whenever I use the CAS version of this mod, all the traits show up in the reward store. I'm NOT using the Reward Store version of the mod. Am I doing something wrong?

It is no longer needed for use with Lumpinou's mods! You can now put the main packages+ script (any of those with ! in the name) DIRECTLY in the Mod folder which would works well together with Lumpinou’s mods. 😉

The !chingyu_RomCompatibility.package is not included in the download this time. Is it no longer needed?

This doesn't edit the jealousy reaction system. This edits the romance autonomy and romance restriction. Sims still get the in-game negative moodlets from getting caught cheating.

I figured out what the problem was! It removed all of them from my sims that had them but they are now only located in the reward trait buying menu.

Hi, I'm currently having an issue where adding this mod to my game causes it to crash when I try to enter Live Mode. I have many script mods, so I'm assuming the problem is that there's another mod trying to modify the same scripts. I'm going to try and go through to find what it might possibly be

There is a very specific purpose that I need to merge packages for most of my traits packs. MCCC and Sims After Dark LE help discord keep telling people to delete some of my mods because they see the package numbers of people's mod files are too large while all my mods are well-supported and my mods are not the reason for the LE. It is unfair to me and would confuse users when the helping channels keep doing so.

Hi, do you not have your faithful traits packaged like your v4, v5 traits etc so I can pick and chose which ones I want in my game ? You use to and that's a shame.

just though i'd mention if you have famous sims they will still accept flirts from other celebrities even with better romance.. i have to sims engaged, loyal, promised faithful, one is 5 star celebrity, she got flirted with by another celebrity and romance bar opened and jumped straight up to like 25%.. i changed the fame test scores to 0 and raised some of the in-relationship scores and it still happened so i added better romance as that is so strict but it still happened, then i changed the same scores on there and that worked... now my faithful famous sim is 100% faithful.. just thought i'd mention it in case anyone else has same. Awesome mod btw i been looking for something like this for sooooo long only problem is i have to give em both poly traits (thankfully which doesn't seem to be affecting their faithfulness) so they don't get jealous when faithful partner is rejecting flirts and ruin their relationship lol and Zero is no longer publicly sharing the cheating mod i wonder as you're so good at making mods if that's something you could add to this mod

Traits Faithfulness V2.1 is the part consisting of Committed, Unfaithful traits, etc. Faithfulness Mod V2.1 is the part of asking their partner to be faithful and altering romance autonomy. They can be used together or used alone so I separate them in download. RomCompatibility is the one you need to put directly in your mod folder if you have any other romantic mod from other creators installed.

Hi Vicky, I'm confused about which one to download. What's the difference between Traits Faithfulness V2.1, Faithfulness Mod V2.1 and RomCompatibility?

I actually cried and didn't know how to respond to this cuz I was so touched by your comment. You are so sweet! Yes, and the problem has been fixed with the !RomCompatibility package. I updated them today for the patch and I plan on updating them with new features with cheating buffs and more integration with Realistic Reactions and Lumpinou's mods. You need to download the extra file !chingyu1023_RomCompatibility and put it directly in your Mod folder 😉 No need to delete stuffs from my mods or the other creators' mods.

Chu~ I've got a question about Open Love Life compatibility version: do I just need to download the extra file (!chingyu1023_RomCompatibility) and put it into my mods folder? Or do I need to delete something and then put it in instead? Does it also matter where specifically I put it (in the same folder as your mod/the same folder as Lum's mod/outside of any folder/etc)?

I really like this mod, but I noticed when my sims would "Ask to be faithful" they could no longer do romance interactions with each other. One sim could, but the other one couldn't and if the one who could tried to do romance interactions, the other sim would deny and their romance bar would go down. It was happening with my married sim couple. So I have deleted this.

Hi, you have made the mod of my dreams! I have been looking for the option to keep my OTP from cheating on each other as soon as I take the camera to the other end of the yard. You do you, Sim Townies and other players, but I want a happy-ever-after filled with rejecting anyone else for my boys, please. I tested the committed/loyal traits, and they seem to work fine together and separately as long as only one of the couple gives a flower - if they both give one to each other, they suddenly start rejecting any romance attempts, despite being in a relationship and both romance and friendships drop like the Titanic. After that everything tends to go to the hot downstairs in a matter of minutes and they are ready for 'til death do you part' sort of divorce. Is this something wonky with the loyalty flower, or are you supposed to just be able to give one (one-sided) flower at a time in a relationship? The problem seems to persist as far as I have tried it in a new save, with neither, only one of committed or loyal traits, and both. As just flirting, and boyfriends/engaged/married (yay speedrun romance). Thank you again for all your work, and even if my finances mean I cannot join with a promise of every month, I will return as your patron whenever I can.

Miguel M has noticed this issue on Committed too! It's because I probably have set the autonomy of some "risky" flirtations too high and EA always make them fail when Sims doing the same interactions in a roll! I'm sorry and I'm doing a bug fix on this issue, typos & changing restrictions on the custom social interactions. Thanks for telling me!

Hi, I love the idea of this mod, but for some reason my married and committed sims keep rejecting each others flirtations and compliments and end up hating eachother. do you know why that is? I've tested it on a few different sim couples.

Thanks for telling me! I'm still new to create social interactions and I will definitely look into this and talk to the other creators if the many scripts would potentially cause issues!

Back before KiaraSims removed scripts from her traits, myself and multiple others got LEs and game crashes from too many scripts doing the same thing. I know Kiara has interactions for her traits and they are in a merged file with no scripts... Lumpinou is the one who shared this issue with me and I believe she helped Kiara remove scripts from her traits to prevent this issue...

Hi I just tried the mod and I love what you've created. I have a problem though in that when leaving sims to converse with each other (I've given both of them the loyal trait) their relationship, both friendship and romantic will constantly decrease. I would also like to ask if these traits should be applied 1 at a time for sims or if you can have multiple traits such as Loyal and Committed on a SIm. Thanks for all your hard work.

Both the Better Romance compatible version and original version are inside the Romance Mod.zip Extract it and you will see them. 😉

I'm assuming "Better Romance Compatible Version" is the Romance Mod.zip and Original Version is Faithfulness Traits V2 Mar.zip.....is this correct? and then the reward version is pretty straightforward and obvious.
