Added 2020-07-01 13:18:24 +0000 UTCSo this is the second one I've done, and I'd like to do a quick introductiont o my sketchbooks:
I've been keeping "sketchbook" PSDs for... a long time now. Basically, what I do is open up a new PSD at 13x20in and 300dpi, so it's big enough for illustrations, or for storing many sketches. Each layer is it's own drawing or page of sketches. For most of my final colored works, I have the sketch and linework layer on the same layer (I always paint on one layer). These PSDs usually have around 10-15 layers depending on the size. My computer usually starts complaining around 15 layers because it's such a big file. So I usually start a new PSD after that, hence the numbered sketchbooks. I've accrued 59 for the time being, but I've been thinking of visiting the old files and posting those. They're really old drawings, so they're outdated, but let me know if you'd like to see them! I'd love to have some extra stuff to post for you guys. The first one was created on 5/30/2018 so it's pretty old!
Speaking of sketchbooks, I have one on Kickstarter right now! It's basically this post but in physical book form!
