Being alone with a girl in a situation like that for the first time can be really scary. You can’t imagine the pressure on a young teenaged boy in such circumstances. When I was a kid, to admit he was nervous and uncomfortable with so much skin on display would have ended him. She would tell the whole school and he’d be branded as homosexual (really a bad thing in the school culture I grew up in) and be bullied until he could finally escape to university and start a new life. I’m glad there are different cultures in the world and that they change over time. Being a teenaged boy today would be a lot easier now it’s more acceptable for a boy to just be a regular human being and not some always cool, always smooth, always ready to jump into a girl’s bed under any circumstances. I’m sure there are many other pressures on young teens that I didn’t have to deal with, like social media and what have you, but that was the worst of being a teenaged boy where and when I grew up so I’m glad to see Gojo nicely avoiding the traps. I wonder if that’s because of the culture allowing it or because he’s so cut off from the culture that he’s not aware of the societal pressures and expectations. Whatever the case, I really love his character. I’d definitely date him. Mind you, I’d date Marin, too. 💡 I could be the magic ingredient to bring them both together! One day I’ll get round to writing fan-fiction, I swear it 😂

It reminds me of a time I was in a pub with my new girlfriend, who was stupidly jealous that I had so many female friends, and one of those female friends came over and I asked why she was still there. She had to go home and changed for her job serving behind a bar, didn't she? She said no, it was fine, she was wearing her leggings under her jeans. She opened up those jeans to prove it and... she was wearing nothing underneath at all. She went bright red, my girlfriend nearly choked on her drink and I couldn't do anything but laugh at the both of them. Sometimes life is exactly like an anime LOL
