While thr boots are great, it's also very good to combine platform sandals with shiny pantyhose; puts the feet in "proper" position while still showing off more of the pantyhose than calf or knee high boots. But in any case, all platform heels are good - whether mules, sandals, ankle boots or up to thigh high boots...
