Demo - Progress Update

Hello all,

Just a quick update to let you know how we are progressing with the demo. As you can see above, we spent the past few weeks on getting Venkmar ship shape, and the backers are currently seeing the result of that work. Now that the town is functioning perfectly, we are moving on to fixing the rest of the issues that you can see on the attached updated To Do List. Exploration and combat are up next, and we are hoping to get a new build with those areas improved to backers next month. Once that is done, we'll polish everything up, and hopefully get the final public demo out in January, both for download and available online at itch.io, newgrounds, etc.

So, we are a little behind, but we are making good progress. These things can happen with such a small team, as when problems occur you don't have the extra manpower to deal with them without losing time. I personally wasn't particularly happy about releasing the demo in its current state, but I wanted the backers to see that we have been working, and we are continuing to work to improve it. If you also follow me over on Seeds of Chaos, you know how seriously I take delivering work on schedule. The good news is, once all the systems are in place and working correctly, it is just a case of adding content on top of them, which should go a lot smoother.
