EARLY EPISODE: The Battle of Tannenberg Part 3: The Not Battle of Tannenberg

Part 3/3

When i leave my anglo Saxon bubble for non Schengen countries.I get a "pill passport" for my low grade medicinal meth salts and opiates. I would recommend contacting your doctor and embassy in the country you are planning to go if you need to bring medicine.

Crazymadman

I live in armenia, one of the most uh let's say not progressive countries on earth when it comes to mental health and they recognize it as well as any prescription given by what country someone comes from.

Lions Led By Donkeys Podcast

ADHD is not an internationally accepted medical diagnosis and is ethnic centric to Anglo Saxon nations. Good luck traveling outside of Anglo Saxon nations with low dose methamphetamine salts. Google it and read about Americans getting arrested overseas. An American executive for Toyota was arrested for bringing opiates into Japan for her back pain. Which is not medically accepted in most non Anglo Saxon nations.

I've heard it has to do with bargaining between pharmacies and manufacturers. Fundamentally, I feel it's a manufacturers' issue - demand has increased and their willingness to meet this demand has actually gone down, leading to this current deplorable state of affairs.

My great grandpa's job when he was in the British Army in the late 1800s/early 1900s (inc. WW1) was shoeing horses and mending saddles and bridles, etc. He had a good time, by all accounts, and spent most of his spare time getting married to various different women across the globe, according to my mother

Gabriel Laycock

I've only had one time it was out in the last year and they filled it somewhere else. I'm in Colorado. I don't understand how that can just run out in a country with giant pharma companies.

Rylan May

Now is one of the worst times to get on adhd medication - across the board we're running out of everything. I haven't been able to get my normal prescription filled for almost three months now because no pharmacy here has any available. This might just be an issue in the states, but regardless good luck.

This is such a strong show with Nate opposite Joe.

Brandon P

Nate I'm happy to report that the good shit only makes the tangents better if you're on the right dose

Jordan Y Clementi

Solidarity with Nate. Welcome to the cool ADHD kids club. We don’t have agendas, notes, or meetings

I wish he'd stop misgendering the UK. England is not Britain

Foshcat

I’ve never found Nate’s tangents to be particularly odd or out of place, but then I also have ADHD.

Peter Thurlow

This whole thing just comes across as a tragedy of darkly comedic errors. Also the tangents are nice relief and Nate's accents are fun

I don't even really consider them tangents cuz i listen to this show to learn cool history stuff and that is what Nate pops in with nine times out of ten. The tenth time is in a language i don't speak

yeah my dad had enlisted in the early seventies, did basic, went to aviator school, then to aviation mechanic school, then to medevac school, hoping he'd still be in school when the war ended. naturally the army sent him to vietnam to be a mechanic in a medevac unit. which was just so many kinds of traumatic. he learned that mechanized infantry training is horrifically dangerous when he got to transport a dude who had a track run over his pelvis during an exercise. (dude lived to medical out but holy shit).

Moira Brown

Yay! For more bicycle infantry. They are a cool step between horse mounted and mechanised infantry. Some units even had mortars and machine guns on trailers. Which has to count as a technical.
