Listening to this series just cemented how much I want. Joe and Tom to watch at least the opening scene from Jin Roh The Wolf brigade

One of the best things out there for the troubles. And the emphasis on the normal people suffering instead of picking one of the three sides was great, as things on the troubles normally just make it about the big names. Thanks

Amazing work as always

Chris Morse

Great series!

Surprisingly most things were pretty cordial with both the mob and the provos and they'd put him up in a safe house back of a store when he went across the pond. The IRA chief of staff also came to Philadelphia several times himself and gave talks to knights of Columbus. That sounds way crazier than anything this uncle did in northern Ireland because they'd have men watching out outside the catholic school they'd meet at in case any authorities tried anything

Damn, I'm assuming he's got some stories.

Rylan May

FYI Dickie Mountbatten is King Charles's paternal great uncle. They're from the old German nobility before wwi. He was most assuredly not an antifascist but he did make sure that Philip got out of Germany and into England before that was impossible, I think he could sense the winds changing and knew which horse to back.

Jordan Y Clementi

Probably shouldn't be saying this but my uncle used to be a bag man for NORAID and the Philly mob

The sick burns towards the other larger podcasts at the end had me cackling

Wyatt Nilsson

I have a difficult time attributing the Canary Wharf (and wider mainland bombing campaign) solely to the dissident RIRA because unlike their subsequent endeavors, the London bombings actually achieved a positive outcome for them.
