EARLY: Otto Skorzeny Part 3: Otto Skorzeny, Mossad Assassin

The last part of Otto Skorzeny's life is a mess of espionage and conspiracy theories.

Fun fact about the cinvert who shot his nazi roommates, I had gone to the same airsoft event as him and a picture of that event was used in at least one article about it. My life is weird

The Goon Chick

That statement raises questions.

Want to make one about Hans-Joachim Marseille? The German fighter Ace, that make Tom Cruise "Top Gun" look as a sane guy, that never would do something out of the line. And he hated the Nazi.

Andreas Lermen

Can you imagine if they convicted both the dumb private who admitted to war crimes and the middle management Nazi? They could even have just quietly pardoned the private haha Or, you know, just take the Nazi out back and shoot him.

A Guy

A small correction, Otto wouldn't be the first nazi Denmark executed, they killed many of those fuckers after the war. Burn in hell etc.

I feel like Liam becomes more unhinged with every episode.

How do you admit to crimes yourself while you try a Nazi

A guy i knew from leftist circles told me his great grandfather got a very similar funeral, with the Nazi dress uniforms and SS songs... Germany is a normal place

Lawyer here: when talking about the trials against Nazis after WWII, it's important to note that, while imperfect, they were one of the first attempts to bring systematic legal accountability to war. Before that, "justice" after a war would generally be based on coincidence: sometimes members of the losing side would be killed without trial, while others would be let go on the basis of national sovereignty. In that sense, the post war trials were still a huge step in the right direction.
