Ok, the Kazoo rendition of our Hymn is pretty funny, ngl. Also, bang on about the Mameluke sword. Was taught that story as gospel during basic and it was reinforced occasionally during my time in the Corps. Later got curious and went digging for the origins of that specific weapon because I was studying historical eastern arms and armor, and found out the truth. I was so mad. Just add it to all the other lies I was told throughout my career. Never saw that reenlistment bonus I was promised, and never got to fight a lava monster when I got my third stripe.
