We have a government scheme here called robodebt were the government makes up debts that current and former welfare recipients have to pay immediately or face terrible interest rates and repossessing of property. These debts go into the 10s of thousands and thousands of dollars are common also remember these debts are simply made up by a computer. On top of welfare killing people by starvation already it causes a massive amounts of suicides per year and this is nothing compared to our concentration camps and the ongoing genocide of Indigenous peoples. Most Australians are fine with all of this, in fact we are mostly cop loving bastards. Hate this country more, we deserve it

We’ve always tried to be our little sub empire in the pacific, still completely subservient to the big empires Britain and now the US, but trying to lord it over the small islands that they aren’t interested in. Another fun thing is the immigrants they do let in are the types that refer to their birth country as ‘Rhodesia’ Oh and we punch well above our weight in war crimes too. Just google Jim ‘butcher of Fallujah’ Molan or Ben Roberts Smith for a little insight. The media has also been playing ‘feel good refugee stories’ of Australians trying to do what they can for Ukrainian refugees, while we have a Tamil family awaiting deportation after they fled the genocide (potential depressing future episode) in Sri Lanka. Also if you nuke Australia you also take out the worlds largest supplier of coal, so it’s going to be a net good for the rest of the planet anyway (when the fallout settles of course)
