2023-02-13 23:02:28 +0000 UTCO.K. quick thought on the 300 in weed convo. 300$ back in the day in Michigan would have gotten you an ounce in most rural area's and all of the U.P. , a quarter pound could be had in the Detroit area for 450$ (4 ounces for math impaired). An ounce is 8 8th's (pause for epiphany as someone just realizes why they are called 8th's.). That aint "a ton of weed" , it really isn't more than a week for most social smokers. Fast forward today and the dispensaries in the U.P. charge as much as 600$ for an ounce , fucking insane. But it is now 200$ an oz on the street. Point of all that if you buy 300 in weed that aint a dealer not even close. It is easily for personal , most under quarter pound purchases are. And every smoker alive laughed when 300 was described as a bunch , dealer weight , "I would have to assemble my entire town to get that much together" , um average pot dealer has at least a pound in house guaranteed you could have found that within a few blocks. We had them every 300 feet it seemed and I was in the far north of the U.P. watching you all talk marijuana is like watching me talk military history ; )
