Yeah, Northern Ireland still isn't part of the Republic, but the peace process made it a demographic inevitability. Any insurgency in which an outcome is that the insurgents are viewed as a legitimate combatant in an armed conflict rather than "bandits" or "criminals" is a win for the insurgency.

They did what horse archers tend to do riding away and peppering the big targets with arrows till they went mad and rampaged through there own army then running off unto the jungle.
