Correction: At one point it is pointed out that Gaddafi's family was not Bedouin. The tribe they are a part of is Bedouin though Gaddafi was sent away from his family to attend school at a young age. This isn't important but technically correct!

Aside from the Canadian and Newfoundland government saying "NO", the best quote from the news came from our Lt. Governor at the time, John Crosbie. Asked if Gaddafi could set his tent up on the lawn of Government House (Lt. Governor's residence), Crosbie said Gaddafi could go sleep with the horses in the stable on the property.
