2022-09-08 16:48:13 +0000 UTCHave you read any of the primary sources on the 1919 treaty of Versailles from the European point of view? So one of the reasons the league of nations idea failed so hard was that the European politicians read Wilson's writings and thought oh shit this guy is gonna stand up and be a world leader in this. And then they were super underwhelmed when they actually met him and they basically all wrote that he was a rabbit in a room full of wolves.

2021-02-13 10:20:24 +0000 UTCPavlov's house is fantastic. Another great one that would be a good episode is by stealth and sea about the Italian human torpedo attacks
2021-02-12 21:52:20 +0000 UTCThis completes the "WWII holdout battles turned in to a board game" (by the same company!) trifecta along with Pavlov's House and the antifa postmen of Danzig :D

2021-02-12 19:08:20 +0000 UTCI know YouTube is kind of a cesspool of right wing nonsense nowadays, but I'd recommend Three Arrows' video on the Wehrmacht's complicity in the Holocaust and their campaign into eastern Europe.

2021-02-12 18:58:17 +0000 UTCI always love how this event is used as "proof" by wehraboos that the wehrmacht wasnt all that bad. Like sure, I guess 30 people represent an army of about 12 million. Just ignore the 2 million that warcrimed their way across Belaruss , Russia and Ukraine.
