How long do you want Demon Lord to last until HMFM Idols?

Should I wait for a lot of art to accumulate for Idols or should I start developing it sooner?

I would prefer using my own art on all my games, but I don't think it is high quality enough to satisfy everyone. My art though is getting better pretty fast, if you compare my first character (the Slave from HMFM2) to my Succubus character, huge improvement in around 2-3ish months. I was thinking once Demon Lord is done, is that I could spend 10-20% of my time on a side game with my own art. (It would be bad if I completely stopped drawing.) I was kind of thinking of doing the 2 games that I said I was gonna do, Daughter Trainer and the Animal Girl Pokemon game (or some fantasy pokemon game).
