Exploring the Cenotes of Yucatán — Naked and Free 🌿
Added 2025-04-22 15:13:49 +0000 UTCNew adventure video, and this one is extra special. I traveled to Mérida, Yucatán, a beautiful city full of culture, color, and… cenotes. If you’ve never heard of them, cenotes are natural sinkholes filled with crystal-clear water — and they’re absolutely magical.
This was my second time in Mérida, but the first since I started practicing freediving. It completely changed the way I experienced the cenotes. The silence underwater, the challenge of depth, and the stillness of the surroundings made it unforgettable.

Explored Mérida’s center by bike
Ate amazing Yucatecan food
Visited museums
Swam in private cenotes (some literally in people's backyards!)
Slept in traditional hammocks, just like the locals do
This trip taught me so much — about myself, about fear, and about freedom. There’s something deeply liberating about being in nature, without clothes, facing the unknown depths of the earth.
