It's Happening!

Just to give everyone an update, I started the process of becoming a Roll20 Marketplace creator last night. My samples were accepted and I've started putting together my first set. You'll recognize a lot of the objects from what I've been doing, at slightly higher quality. Objects like boulders, ponds, trees, etc have to be at 280 dpi, while full maps have to be at 140 dpi.

I'm starting with Wonderful Wilderness: Temperate Forests. I know, I know, forest aren't exciting but Meditating Munky assures me that forests sell better for him across the board and are a good, safe bet for a beginning content creator.

Alright, I'm about 30% into getting my first set ready to package up. My assets look way nicer, but because of the requirements I've had to rebuild some things just to make sure. After that I'll knock out 6-8 maps. I'll have:

26 boulders 13 regular and 13 mossy (1 5x5, 9 3x3, 3 2x2)

16 logs 8 regular and 8 mossy (2 10x3, 10 5x5, 4 3x3)

10 ponds/pools of water (2 20x20, 4 10x10, 4 5x5)

X cliffs (not sure yet, thinking same as ponds, 2 20x20, 4 10x10, and 4 5x5)

40 x trees 20 regular shadows, 20 realistic shadows (not sure on sizes)

1 x campfire (1x1)

1 x bedroll (1x1)

1 x tent? (2x2)

2 x grassy/dirt mixed textures (1 25x25 1 50x50)

4 x debris/leaves (5x5)

4 x 25x25 maps

4 x 50x50 maps

After that, my plan is to move into Towns. Depending upon how well my machine does with 50x50 140 dpi maps, I do want to release a couple of map packs for each "set". A map pack will be 10-12 maps based on the assets for each set. Current plan, which could change, is to do ships after towns. I want to have ships that match the dimensions outlined in Ghosts of Saltmarsh, which I've already preordered.

As a reminder, $5 patrons will have access to all of the sets I release on Roll20, plus borderless versions of the free content I distribute on the Internet. I'll probably release watermarked maps on my Patreon for all of my patrons of some of my Roll20 maps as a thank you, but definitely not all of them. As I'm starting to see last night, putting together these Roll20 sets is definitely work.

Thank you for the support everyone!
