Ahem. I am ... pleased(?!) to announce that as of the writing and editing of this chapter, arc 24 is almost certainly going to 35 chapters. Maybe 36! I was very right last week, when I said that more than one Heather would inevitably send my outlines into complete disarray. I ... I really really doubt it's gonna be more than 36 chapters though. But I can't cut a single thing! To do that, here at the end of the final main arc of Book One, that would be criminal of me. Sevens and Praem would work together to break the 4th wall and tie me to the keyboard. I'm going to give Heather all the space she needs, I promise! So, onward we go!
I dearly hope you enjoy this one, dear readers. This arc has been such a hell of a journey, and we're so, so, so almost there! There's only a few more pieces to line up now, a few more trials to overcome, and Heather's true worst enemy to face (herself.) But really, she's almost there!
And now, for the most difficult confrontation of all ...

Even after years of writing I still don't have a very good grasp of just how massive some narrative movements can be. The characters keep surprising me! And yes, haha, Eileen would be proud of such a pun!
