Well well well, the scope of this arc has expanded beyond what I originally envisioned! To be fair, I did leave plenty of room for that to happen, so I guess we're rolling with it! I am now uncertain exactly how long this arc might last, I genuinely won't know until the second to last chapter, probably. Maybe not even then! Everyone on the page is surprising me, and several characters who aren't even on-screen are surprising me too, which sure is a new experience. Eseld and Shilu are especially unpredictable, but the others are putting in a good showing too. One in particular might be about to cause problems ... not for me, I mean! For the others. Ahem.
Regardless of all that, I do hope you're enjoying this part of Necroepilogos as much as I am enjoying writing it! This is still an absolute blast, and we've barely even started this new narrative movement. Here we go! Back into the grave dirt once again.

Thank you! Really glad you're enjoying this! I chose Eseld as the POV for this arc for those exact reasons (among some others, too!) She doesn't know what's going on, unlike Shilu, and the developments in this tomb are probably going to have major effects later on. And yeah, it's unclear how much time has passed. Elpida and her crew are likely to be nearby (since Shilu was inserted here, to hunt them), but we have no idea how long it's been! What might Elpida be like, when we finally see her?

I also like that this is the pov of someone killed by Elpy, so we honnestly have no idea how much time has passed since then. Could have been a day. Could have been years. We won't know until later, and that is exciting.
