Aaaaaaaaand I can confirm now that this is not - not! - the last chapter of this arc! It was meant to be, it was going to be, things were all laid out for a 1-2-3 of events to the finale, but then all the zombies scuttled off in different directions and my plans were once again shredded by their teeth and claws. Good girls, all of them.
Haha, ahem. Seriously though! We're still going! I'm not sure if the next chapter will be the last, or the one after that? Your guess is as good as mine right now. And I do hope you're enjoying this wild ride as much as I am, dear readers!

Oof ow lmao, ahem! This cliffhanger wasn't even planned! The chapter was supposed to end a completely different way! Shilu just derailed like an entire future arc, it's wild. But then I realised if I kept going there was no way I could end it properly for another ... 3-4k words? Probably?
