A sneaky little interlude appears, wedged neatly between arcs 10 and 11! This one is less of a surprise than usual, as you can already tell who it's about from the title. Behind the scenes there was actually a little war over who was going to feature in this interlude, but Thirteen is so much larger and stronger now, there's no way she could lose. We'll hear from the losing option soon, I'm sure of that.
And, uh, surprise! This one is actually coming in two parts, two chapters of interlude! Originally I intended this to just be one quick chapter, but it sort of grew in the telling, and there was no way to do it justice in the space available, but this narrative beat doesn't need an entire arc to itself. So, more of this coming up next chapter!
After that it's onto arc 11 proper. An unexpected POV or two looms in the distance. I have such surprises in store for you, dear readers. Hope you enjoy!

Disco never dies! Sort of like Telokopolis, maybe? Oh yeah. I imagine that fight was seen for miles around, especially by any revenants with improved vision or visual recording capabilities. They'll be circulating the tapes for years to come! Perhaps some of them even knew what the fight meant. Perhaps word will travel.

I can imagine a bunch of them stopping what they're doing, not even bothering to hunt each other, and just sitting around watching the fight. It's something new and interesting for them after all. Just missing the popcorn.
