Interlude 4 Part 2! ... of 3! Um, no, I'm not joking. Thirteen Arcadia surprised me, ran away with entire portions of what I had planned, and has forced me to extend this interlude to three chapters. Does it still count as an interlude anymore? Maybe? It's not quite enough to be a full arc (it's not going to go to four chapters, right??? It better not do!), but I'm starting to feel it should have had a title, rather than simply being an interlude. But it's totally not an arc. (Is it!?)

In any case, I sort of like how this has turned out! Rather than trying to squeeze all this into a single sequence, it's been nice to take the time to explore this with Thirteen, these deep and far reaches, beyond the safety of any graveworm. And she deserves it, I think. This is important to her, this journey to the edge of a rotting world.
