Early Askcess: A Better Future

trueutopian asked: I'm not against the idea of Sage, as I'm fond of her, but it is weird they tried to make us feel sorry for Eggman in Frontiers. I mean, it worked for many, including me, but it is weird. Eggman has been nothing but a one dimensional bully for 30 years, with his moments of humanity counted in less than one hand. Last game he had a world war going.

Anonymous asked: There are folks who can be really nasty online but I feel like now there are more people who make an effort to be decent online. The online culture of the early 2000s seemed to reflect a general acceptance of edgy humor that punched down at disadvantaged people. Am I correct, or has the death of forums and the birth of social media just resulted in jerks being less congregated?

Anonymous asked: Of all the positive contributions people have made to the sonic franchise, who do you think is most underrated for their contribution? This could be someone who worked on multiple sonic games, one sonic game or had some other behind the scene role.

Anonymous asked: I found an old article about Ken Pontac and Warren Graff’s roles in Sonic Colors, Generations and Lost World. In it, Pontac explains that they were responsible for writing the dialogue for Colors. For Generations, they apparently had more input on the actual story and wrote how the cutscenes would play out. As for Lost World, they were given the freedom to come up with the story from the ground up, and wrote the cutscenes along with it.

Generally speaking I only post links because sometimes in the run-up to these getting posted, I might add or change things about the posts. Ergo, visiting the link is the only way to make sure what you're reading is the most up-to-date version of the post without me having to constantly also edit things here on Patreon. Once a post goes live, the link stops working. Publishing dates are also subject to change if I move things around.
You can submit an ask here, though tumblr is picky about it now and forces you to have a login.
