How Do You Feel About Bandcamp?
Added 2019-02-23 15:46:21 +0000 UTCSo, as you may have heard on the podcast (or seen me tweet about it), I've run out of upload time on Soundcloud and to get more I either have to manually delete old songs or buy in to their ridiculously expensive Pro plans.
It was floated by a former patron to look in to uploading them to Bandcamp. Bandcamp essentially gives you infinite space to upload music, so in addition to older Soundcloud uploads, I could throw up my entire library dating all the way back to 2004.
But that obviously interferes with what I was trying to do here. I never really kept up with posting my music archives here on Patreon, partially because it's tedious to sift through hundreds of MP3s to separate the good stuff from all of the "sketches" and write commentary for everything, but also because Patreon itself makes it kind of difficult to manage, what with the low file size limit on uploads (something that will become a bigger and bigger problem the further forward in time those archives go).
So what I'm asking is: if I threw all this music stuff up on Bandcamp, would any of you care? It would be one less incentive for you guys, but I've always gotten the impression that people barely care about my music stuff anyway.
