PS: I’m not always 100% right — I don’t know every character, and sometimes I have to do some quick surface-level research to check if they’re eligible. So don’t take it too hard if your pick gets denied!

However, as some others have pointed out, it tends to feel a bit one-sided — it’s easy to guess who’ll come out on top, and it usually ends up being characters from major franchises. So, I’d like to suggest keeping the voting rules the same, but changing the way winners are decided. For example: 1. A character is selected if they get 5 votes. 2. The top 3 voted characters are selected. I realize this could increase your workload, and I’m sorry about that… But I feel like this kind of change might give a bit more spotlight to the characters and series that people love — even if they’re not super popular. I hope you’ll consider it!

For example: in Naruto the main character is Naruto, in Bleach it’s Ichigo, in One Piece it’s Luffy, in Sailor Moon it’s Sailor Moon, and in Frieren it’s Frieren. I wasn’t asking for just female characters or female heroines…
