This is really a problem universally in combat sports, A fighter that has the knowledge of the Rhythm Step and who also knows how to attack and disengage when the see it would be a problem for any fighter.

2025-06-15 20:16:39 +0000 UTCIt’s really interesting to see how often Canelo breaks his base and puts himself out of position, breaking his base, rhythm stepping, “taking pictures”. I see it in his bag work and seems just habitually drilled into him at point, and his coach may have no idea. Maybe more interesting that many of his World level opponents and their coaches haven’t been able to recognize and exploit these positional weaknesses.
