🎂Brainstorm for Patreon Exclusive [April 2025]

The topic for this month’s Patreon Exclusive is: “Trapped Together.” One character is the boss (or master) of the other – whether the Speaker is the boss or the Listener is the boss is up to you!

Step 1: Decide who is boss ;)
Step 2: Decide on the species, roles, and personality traits for the two characters

Step 3: Choose ONE of the following settings, OR your own:

Space station
Any type of moving ship
Underwater research station
Time-looping city where characters are stuck in the same day (and are aware of it)
Virtual reality prison (their minds are trapped in some kind of VR game)
A giant’s castle in the clouds
Magic library
Massive cathedral
Museum

Step 4: Come up with how the characters became stuck there in the first place, e.g., power malfunction, unexpected quarantine, accidentally triggering a switch or trap, someone put them there on purpose, OR your own idea.

Step 5: How might they escape? (If they want to escape)...or do they decide to stay there for a length of time, for whatever reason?

Step 6: Think about their relationship development, and what kind of dynamic the characters have with each other. This may be dependent on their personalities and job titles.

You can submit up to two sets of ideas. If you do, please label them IDEA 1 and IDEA 2. Submissions can be as brief or as detailed as you like.
