Iwaizumi (practice + head canons 🐱🩷)

Art block is beating everybody up right now, I swear we're all catching it like the flu 💔 but to combat it I've been working on my art style more as well as some freehand stuff to build confidence, but everything I sketch turns into Iwa because I love him


Also if you're wondering what the gray one is for, I shade my sketches before I color so I can reference it when I color and shade fr lol😭

I've drawn Iwa a lot so I have a lot of physical head canons for him lol

-Tan skin! I feel like when he's not playing volleyball he's playing other sports like baseball or soccer/football and just spending all his time outside with his friends. His tan got even deeper when he moved to Cali for university, Iwa is definitely a summer guy (which pains me because I hate sweating 💔)
*Bonus HC that if Oikawa didn't choose volleyball Iwa probably would have chosen baseball

-His eyebrow hair lays in an odd direction which gives them that little spike on the arch

-Eyebeow scar! does everyone have a scar here? I have met so many people with this exact scar 😭

-Eyebeow piercing because yes. Originally this was just for my AU but it looks so good on him I just draw it regardless now 😭 * bonus HC that He had one on his right eyebrow too but it rejected (I have a lot of Iwa eyebrow head canons I'm sorry)

-He has long bottom lashes

-This is sort of canon but Iwa has pointier ears!

-Rough hands.. *bats eyelashes*

-He has short but pointy canines and so his bottom lip frequently gets bloody/cracked from biting it (a lot of aspects about Iwa are pointy, his hair, his eyebrows, his teef, his ears, and yk what we love it)



This was fun to do!! I might make more for other characters I draw a lot/have HC's I routinely add , like Osamu and Atsumu!

BUT SORRY I HAVEN'T BEEN POSTING A LOT ON MY MAIN ACCOUNTS AHHH?!?! I've been going outside more (before I was spending essentially 6-7 days a week drawing fanart 😭) And art block has made an appearance so I had to put the Tadashi drawings on hold 💔 But the best way to overcome art block is through practice and studying so yippee yahoo!
