1.0 Progress Log 1.

Since the last post, development has been nothing but writing, and I'm happy to announce that just a couple of days ago I finished writing the epilogue. Which means that every main event and interaction from level 6, and 7 has been fully written. Writing these last two levels was surprisingly smooth and there weren't as many roadblocks as usual. However, the content from level 6 and onwards is a bit unique in which the there was a really big jump in lewdness going from level 5 to level 6, which took some figuring out, and all of that figuring out resulted in, so, many, rewrites. Seriously, I've never rewritten something so many times.

The rewritting wasn't exactly starting something from scratch, instead it was more so about consntantly taking pieces off from the interactions and rewritting them with various improvements and a better flow. But the sheer amout of rewrites done resuling in a lengthy writting stage. To put it into perspective, the document for the level 4 level up event (The one at the bathhouse.) is 7 pages long, while the level 5 level up event, which will bring you to level 6, is 23 pages long. They both have a fairly similar duration, but the latter one has all of those additional pages due to all of the dialogue that was rewritten, but not deleted as it could've been useful in other instances. Anyhow, lots and lots of writting happened.

Let's talk CGs. Up to this point, every event has had their own set of CGs. However, the events found in level 6 and 7 all share some similar beats, so a lot of the CGs will be shared among the new events. Though another reason for them sharing CGs is due to the spike in activity in the events due to leap in lewdness in level 6 onwards. The new CGs are way above any other CG when it comes to complexity, and they have the highest amount of different bodies and such. So, making a new CG with this level of complexity for every event wouldn't have been viable.


Let's talk about the upcoming workflow. As I mentioned above, the epilogue is now fully written, and with that, the story is now complete. Now that that's done, I'll be moving on to coding the events and getting them into a fully playable state. This being the next step so that once they are coded and playable, I would be able to move on to making the gallery system, while having every piece of content that is needed for it done.

On another note. These two posts were supposed to come out last month. However, July turned out to be quite the messy month, I was quite sick for some time, there were some last minute plans which left me unavailable for some more time, and I was also not entirely clear on some things related to the development. 

And as a last note. I'm writting this while my eyes and head are trying to kill me, so apologies for any details I may have missed. I'll make sure to include them in the next progress log!
