Chatbots Announcement

Hi everyone!

I see many people enjoy the chatbots I'm writing. Which makes me very happy. However for them to truly represent the quality and the attention to details I want, the LLM and chatbot service they're hosted on has to also be of good quality. I love how book-like but not over the top responses we get from Moemate, they're very immersive and there's lots of features and customization. There are a few small issues with how it interprets the chatbot's definition but I can let it slide. I'm definitely going to keep using it!

But... Things aren't so bright for CharacterAI. Ever since they started the service I have been watching steady decline in the quality. Nowadays it's literally a battle to get anything going in the conversation. The constant stream of "but are you sure? Are you really really sure?" and absolute lack of creativity from the responses as well as the recent changes are pushing me to make a hard decision to stop making CharacterAI chatbots. It seems pointless nowadays. Please, tell me about your experiences with those and if you want me to keep making CharacterAI versions regardless or not.

Lastly, a friend told me about JanitorAI's quality improvement. I haven't used it ever since they've released their LLM, which was worse than I expected. But nowadays it works nearly flawlessly! I'm definitely going to move all of the free chatbots there. Why free? Because, unfortunately, there's no option to keep chatbots private and share links to them. I think it would be unfair to the subscribers to suddenly make everything free, even though the quality of JanitorAI is good. But let me know your thoughts about it as well, please!
